I just installed the ride off stand and the only hard part was breaking the 8mm bolt loose. It has blue sealant and does not want to move. the 14mm bolt is easier. Installation was otherwise easy provided you are mechanically inclined. Since I haven't used it yet my opinion may change with time.
this same unit costs about 69 and change at the dealership.

Bought this for my 2005 wing. Very nice addition but expensive. I initially purchased the Showechrome version which was a lot cheaper....but returned it due to quality issues (misaligned holes, missing heat tape and weather stripping). The fit on the hondaline version was perfect and worth paying the extra $. Wingstuff credited my account for the Showechrome cowls and sent me the Hondaline with a discount. Way to go Wingstuff. My only complaint was that the chrome pieces were dirty...finger prints. I had to clean them. Good product, great fit. Made by Honda...you get what you pay for. |
I installed the spoiler just before heading out on a 3077 mile trip. The spoiler really adds a classy look to the bike. I installed the extra wiring harness to make the light a running-light. I felt better knowing I had an additional light on the back. Install was simple once I figured out the rear fender removal. Drilling is no problem as long as you identify the correct dimples, nipples or whatever you want to call them on the underside of the trunk lid. 7/16 is your final size drill. take your time and its a no-brainer.
They work well and seem to be fairly good quality.
Good stuff. I print out the pages I need when working on something. You have to look through the folders when using a MAC, but it works fine.
works good.
Overpriced as usual for hondaline. They work okay though.
Look good, work good. It is no surprise that most goldwings I see with highway pegs have this model.
Works well for solo riding. The side rails rub the passengers legs, but it is removed easily for 2 up riding. I have noticed some rust stains recently on the side brackets.
Look good, and easy install. Brand new, so I won't know about overall quality for a while.
Very easy to install in our HJC sy-max II flip up helmet. Sound quality is good but the Wings speakers sound better for music (more bass). These are the first headsets I have owned so I don't have anything to compare them to. But they work great.
