I have had these on my bike for two years. They still look great. They do make the rear passenger feel more secure. Very sturdy and well built. The only problem I have had is with the drink holder. The allen wrench bolts on the side of the drink holder comes loose with every use. Needs tightening frequenly. Also some smaller drink containers has a potential risk of falling through the bottom. Otherwise I am very pleased with this product.
Excellent safety item @ a good price.
Put these on and right away noticed that i would like to have them a little tighter havent went riding with them yet but will keep a close eye on the bolt to see if they loosen up. Enjoyed some of the other reviews, thanks alot yes they were a easy installation.
Easy install, looks hot. I believe it adds a better look than similar louvers. Going to add some LEDs behind it to see how it enhances the look.
Nice piece. Nothing but compliments from friends. Had no issues installing this piece. Recommend if you get this you go ahead and install the fog lights at the same time to avoid having to remove it later and possibly scratching.
Definitely change these when you replace your alternator. I installed a Compu-fire alternator with 40,000 miles on my bike. The old dampers were as hard as a rock. Absolutely worth the peace of mind as well as not doing the job twice. Cheap insurance.
Definitely works & even helps older helments smell & feel clean.
Decided to change my comments on this item. After a bit of research seems that Honda only make a marine version of this volt meter. Guess it's never been intended for the wing but as I said a Volt Meter is a volt meter is a volt meter. Guess I will be keeping it and installing it. By the way that's why the backlight is red and not white like all the other meters on the bike.Lesson learned here is "ask more questions".
I received my Volt Meter today. Not realy sure what to think of it. This is not a "GoldWing Hondaline Waterproof Volt Meter". The item I received is a volt meter but the package calls it a "Honda Marine Fog Free (by teleflex Inc)" Hmmm...dosen't even look the same.I realize that a volt meter is a volt meter is a volt meter......but the instructions don't even mention the words "GoldWing". Very disappointing. Guess I will be contacting WingStuff about a return.
Another comment....use the rubber plugs on the straws! We found that the wind creates enough suction above 50 MPH to draw your drink out of the rear mounted mug. No issues with the driver's mug.
I got the 34 oz version for front and back. Installation is straight forward, though it took a while to set this up and install the rear holder on the Kuryakyn arm rests. Wife and kids think they look goofy, but my wife enjoyed her hot coffee on the last early morning ride! I do not have an issue with any switches or instruments being blocked by the holder nor the mug on the handlebars, so I'd suggest going with the larger mugs on front and back.
Easy install and look great. Did not have to wait for delivery as others did.
