I upgraded from the HP4 to the fully synthetic HP4S. I noticed a big difference from the GN4 to the HP4 and somewhat less of a difference with the HP4S. Maybe a sightly lower bang into 2nd. Still, feel better to run the HP4S

I want to start off by saying this is a good hitch BUT, like some of the other reviews mentioned and I do agree with is, the instructions are not the best. I do plan on replacing the 6 bolts (3 on each side) that attach the forward brackets on the crash bars with a bolt that is comparable but one you can actually put a socket on. The 6 bolts they supply DO NOT accept either standard or metric sockets and I would highly recommend before starting to replace those with bolts from this planet. The last bolt on each side is a Biiooootch to install and I actually (right or wrong) modified the saddlebag using a dremmel tool to access the nut to be able to tighten it. This modification you can not see anyway and saved me alot of headache. Other than that, once installed I am happy and seems to be a good product. Insallation time was approx. 1.5 hours |

First belly pan that "Silver" has had. Just had it installed at the same time as a major service point (the 24/48/...) this morning, and took it out on Interstate 5 in strong wind (20+ above speed-created wind) conditions. Amazing difference. Only a fraction of the push that I'd previously experienced while riding alongside a semi. The acid test of performance will get tested when there's a strong cross-wind blowing through the nearby Tacoma Narrows (the one that had the wind that destroyed the "Galloping Gertie" Tacoma Narrows bridge that many of you might have seen the late-1940s film of), that have really pushed the Wing around. 30+ mph (or more) side winds, with higher gusts, across the bridge deck do occur, and they have been a BEAR to ride in. That'll be a real test of the difference this might make. I agree with some of the previous reviewers that use of slightly higher gage steel -- for additional impact protection --would be nice. Not enough to drop it to 4 stars. Will follow-up. |
I love mine! I have a spot for my sunglasses and my safety glasses. It also has pockets for those little things that seem to end up in the bottom of the truck.
I like these, very useful and keeps things organized. very easy to install. I also used double sided tape as an extra but is not neccessary.
I had the dealer install this when I purchased my bike. It adds class and is useful.
I agree with the rest, these should have been included for free with the accessories. However, it beats soildering and are a hole lot easier to install.
Fits my 94 1500 wing just fine. Had to split the CB antenna at the load to install but other than that it was an easy install. No tuning issues so far with CB or radio. Note to fellow flag wavers: run a copper wire through the top flag seam and the flag won't wrap around the antenna and post.
I installed these last week. Installation was easy took a little time but well worth it. Looks great. I did'nt use their connectors but everthing else fit good. I also got these on sale. Thanks Wingstuff.
Hello it's a very nice exhaust mufflers and the sound of it's relly nice BUT IF ANY ONE NEED MORE GROWL HE SHOULD install GL1800 Torqmaster Torq Loopz Exhaust Power Chamber
Not too bad for the money, I had some trouble getting it to fit in. It's nice to have additional pockets to put in loose items, but it does cut down on space ie: I had trouble with getting my helmet to fit into truck and felt like I might damage something if I pushed down on the lid to close the trunk.
Not really thrilled with this product. One of the snaps on the trunk carpet was smashed and fell off when I touched it. But since it's not that important I'm not going to bother sending it back. The quality is ok, not great. The pieces fit well
