| I want to start off by saying this is a good hitch BUT, like some of the other reviews mentioned and I do agree with is, the instructions are not the best. I do plan on replacing the 6 bolts (3 on each side) that attach the forward brackets on the crash bars with a bolt that is comparable but one you can actually put a socket on. The 6 bolts they supply DO NOT accept either standard or metric sockets and I would highly recommend before starting to replace those with bolts from this planet. The last bolt on each side is a Biiooootch to install and I actually (right or wrong) modified the saddlebag using a dremmel tool to access the nut to be able to tighten it. This modification you can not see anyway and saved me alot of headache. Other than that, once installed I am happy and seems to be a good product. Insallation time was approx. 1.5 hours |
