Just put these in on my GL1800. Installation is easy enough to do at home with common tools, hammer, brass drift pin, and patience. While my forks were removed, I installed the stiffer Traxxion Dynmamics fork springs, and upon reinstallation, I installed the Kuryakyn Fork Brace and it’s redesigned Chrome Dust Covers. Everything went together really well, and both my high speed and low speed handling is now razor sharp. Though I have stated my handling is vastly improved, I am very hesitant to say that the infamous front-end wobble is cured. My thirty-plus years of riding experience tell me differently. A quick look at available front tire tread patterns (any brand), along with the knowledge that any tire I put on will eventually cup in it’s normal wear cycle suggests to me that front-end deceleration wobble will come and go. I believe this wobble is related to tire wear, the composition of the rubber in the tire, and the frequency of replacements, i.e.; the softer the rubber, the faster the tire wears, and the sooner deceleration wobble is experienced. In my opinion, we can do many things to vastly improve the overall handling of the GoldWing, (front/rear suspension upgrades, tapered steering bearings, fork braces, and tire selection/replacement) but will not overcome the physical properties that are at play while riding one. Keep both hands on the bars!! |
| Looks really good ! paint matches and all LED's work great. Simple install ( had dealer do it cause I'm too chicken to drill into the trunk). Recommend highly. |

Great cover for the price. Did not get to use it, my son took it for his VTX1300R & it covers his large saddle bags. So, gotta order another 1 for me. |
| This is a great unit for a small cost. I installed the unit in less than 10 minutes. Speakers are nice and slim with great sound reproduction. It makes a huge difference instead of having to listen to my radio through the speakers. |
| Installation is easy requires metric drill bits (I only had standard but made it work). Went with hondaline as I wanted it to match the other antenna and it does. |
| I agree with the other reviews, cost is high, but I think everyone agrees it's necessary. Check out Steve Saunders website for install tips, I installed it on a 2008 and everything was similar. Trunk defiantly does not need to be removed I removed the top shell, but I can see how it could be done without full removal. Overall pretty simple installation yet takes takes a few hours, I did it without the manual (in the mail) but could have used one a couple times. |
| It took a professional motorcycle shop mechanic 5.5 hours to install this trailer hitch. Nothing lined up properly and the mechanic used not only his muscle power but others to make it fit and line up properly. The shop said the directions were next to useless. It's on solid now but it cost me $300. in labor fees to get it on. It's hard to believe that there is such discrepencies in the reviews. Appears some go on easy; other do not! If you order one, pray for a good one! |
| Just rec'd and installed with ease. Like most reviews say. measure twice, mount once!! Nice chrome quality, great mounting hardware and instructions. Use tape on trunk to mark/drill and keep close to seat back. Fits all Hopnel bags perfectly. I had to pull a smaller luggage rack off to install but will repair/cover holes. Mounts higher off trunk lid for easy cleaning/waxing etc. Recommend....jmoncr |
| Easy to install. But you need lock tight to keep them snug. They work well especially in the rain to help with the water deflection. I like the extra wind on hot days too. The smoke looks good on the titanium bike. |

I love them. Used locktight on the nuts to keep them tight. Open them a little bit and they bring in the heat off the radiators on cool mornings. Open all the way and they bring on the wind to cool you off. Closing them realy quiets down the buffeting. They were simple to install, less than 1 hour. AND they don't get in the way of the highway pegs, as some claim. |
| Good looking patch. However the iron on glue didn't stick to the leather jacket. the wing points came loose after two days. Ended up sewing on and now all is fine. |
| Cover seems well made and fits well. Order a second for my other bike. Bikes are in my basement with my woodshop. Got to keep them covered to keep the dust off |
