I developed cervical disc bulges so had to go to half helmet. I use CB and listen to music through my FF helmet, so needed a good set for HH. Came across this one and was worried about the price (considering J&M wants $250 for "stereo quality sound" version. BUT I was very, very surprised at the quality of music sound!! Outstanding and of equal quality to the J&M stereo set in my FF. Other riders say CB sound is normal. HOWEVER ONLY ONE PROBLEM. Who ever designed these headsets has not worn them for more than an hour. They don't stay on ears well, and begin pressing your ear lobe to the point of pain. I have learned to bend the heck out of them, then went a step further and glued a 1 inch thickness of foam to the ear pieces and now they are comfortable (sort of). I DO agree with the other reviewer, you need to get a clip and hold the cord to your coat or vest to take pressure off the left ear piece. For the money I would recommend them, wish they were of different design. I'll probably do a little more modifications to these this winter. |
| I had them installed when I bought my bike in 2007 and have not been sorry. The only problem is you must lift your left side in order to put your kick stand down. Be gentle in shifting or you will break your shifting fork inside the transmission, mother Honda will not warrenty if you show up at the dealer with Kuryanyn Floorboards. |
| Had these installed on the bike before I picked it up. They work great and light up the area around the bike nicely. |

Second review, I wish to add a bit of information to my first review of the Progressive Fork Springs. I found if you cut the preload spacers that come with the OEM springs, lighter or smaller riders can enjoy the benefits of the Progressive spring. I trimmed 1 inch off the preload spacers and the springs work fine. The bike doesn't dive when braking, the ride is a bit firmer but you still have a nice comfortable ride with a frontend that will work well when are cornering or if you just a dip or bump in the road as we have plenty of those here in the midwest. If you want a firmer ride just cut less of the preload spacer. To give you a starting point I am 5'8" 175, you can make your adjustments from there. Good Luck, have a safe ride! |

HAD TO HAVE SOMETHING FOR WIFE AS I PROMISED HER I WOULD BEFORE ROADTRIP THIS YEAR.EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED,,BETTER HALF LOVES THEM!! IT DOES TAKE TIME TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BUT WORTH EVERY MINUTE WHEN FINISHED. GREAT LOOK AND BEST OF DOESN'T INTERFERE WITH GETTING INTO TRUNK LIKE OTHER STYLES!!! 2 THUMBS UP!!! |
| I cant believe that they would not include the spring and ball. But I was able to change it without much trouble. My wife loves them! |
| This is a great product for the price. It works perfect! |
| For the price these are really hard to beat when compared to the Honda Line ones for around $80.00. Fit is good and they do the the job they were intended for. |

Considering the price of the headsets, this cable should be included with them. But yeah, it works and seems to be of good quality...so 5 stars. |

Not only is it small. You would think , you remove 2 screws then put the screws back up the slot then tighten. BUT NO !!! It took three people 45 minutes to figure out the slots wernt long enough for the screw to go straight up in to the hole. So you have to put a drill to the slot to elonggate it to make it work. Quite a learning experience, an a royal pain in the BUTT!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| I lose a couple and thought of a bright idea. I took all of them off bike, and super glued them back on. Haven't lost one since but I do have spares. |
| This is an accessory that should have been included on the GL18000 from the start. The difference it makes from the wind defection is signficant for the driver and passenger. I give it 4 stars from the weak means in which you can adjust the position of the defectors, it is a friction bolt, and as we know, over times, losens and then you must have a wrench to tighen it up again. I wish it was re-engineered to have pre-selected position notches. Install time 30 mins! |
