Alowes enge n to stay cooled and protects the engen. Keeps the underneth cleaner.
Definatly smoothes out the ride much better balancing for a lot longer time you wlii really notice the differance.
These are great not noly do they keep the trunk lid and trunk from rubbing. When you open the trunk it pops right up
Used this 10/40 oil and Honda filter. Seems to run smoother (might be my imagination) and shifts real nice. Oil and filter change needs 3.9 quarts.
Just had the all ball tapered bearings installed, 26,000 miles on 02 gl1800. Had a very severe wobble with no hands on the handle bars from 50mph on deceleration. After the installation the bike is rock solid at all speeds from 50 on down to zero. Could not be more satisfied. BTW the old bearings were not loose & were properly torqued to specs.
Purchased the drink holder when I owned my previous bike a BMW but never got it installed. Had too purchase different mounts in order too make it work on my '08 Goldwing.Cup quality very good. Mounting could be improved as it is easily removal from attachment bracket,

Was very excited about this product until it was used on an extended trip. It leaked like a sieve! Noticed water (melted ice) draining from my saddle bag. Bottom of the bag was soaked. Water all in my saddlebag. My gear... you get the picture! Outside construction was very nice. Looks awesome. The inside was a different story. The foam insulation was minimal at best (fine for day rides; sorry for overnight camping trips). Some of the seams toward the top had separated completely but my leak was coming from the bottom seams in which I couldn‘t locate the problem. Ran some tests when I got home and the bottom seams were the without a doubt the problem. I stated to Wingstuff that if they thought that another bag wouldn’t leak, I’ll take a replacement. If they were not sure that another would have the same problem, I’ll take the refund. My preference was to have a cooler that didn’t leak. They gave me a refund! Apparently, no one else has had the same problem I had with mine. I’m glad. Just to let you know that if you use ice cubes from a bag, the seams may not stand the test of time. If you use “blue ice” (reusable ice) then you shouldn’t have a problem. Five stars for the outside, but only two stars total because of the massive leaks. |
I really like the air hawk seat cushion! But it should last longer than 2 years! Mine developed a crack in the filler nozzle where it connected to the seat itself. It was very irritating because the warranty was up and the unit could not be repaired. Right now I am not sure if I want to spend that much money on somthing made just to get past the warranty period.
I wish I had seen these this summer. I am hoping santa will give me a set of these for christmas.
Great antenna. Perfect match for radio. Had to cut 3/4" off antenna to get SWR's balanced at 1.5 on ch 1 and 1.4 on ch 40. was 1.2 on ch 1 and 2.6 on ch 40 before trimmed.
Installed two week ago. Did not get them from WingsnStuff as it was taking too long with the back ordering system they have so got them from another vendor. Two days later went on a drive to Belgium, what a difference. Its not a subtle difference its noticeable immediately. It’s like driving on tracks. The tires I had on were slightly cupped despite having only small mileage but as the miles piled on the cupping slowly disappeared. The handling is superb with no vibration through the handlebars, its laser straight. Like all comments I too was amazed how badly these balance rs are made. They claim they are making them for over forty years, if so somebody needs to be made unemployed soon. How in Gods name did America get to the moon, very obviously they didn’t need balance rs? But that aside for the sheer improvement in handling buy them now!!
Looks great and easy to install. I am short 5'3", and I was able to find a posiiton that works for me. They made my summer trip much more enjoyable. Fit and finish are so far excellent. I have had these on the bike for nearly 5 months now.
