HP Coolant

I like the coolant and the price but I don't understand why Wingstuff doesn't offer the crush washer.

I felt I should let others know of my experence with this battery. I installed it in April. I began to have problems in August. I thought I had a key-off battery drain but after I finally took the bike to the dealer, they said the battery was bad. Maybe its just my bad luck, but to go bad after 4 months is not good. Fortunely, my dealer has agreeded to warranty the battery so I don't have to ship it anywhere. He also offered to swap the TruGel for a Yuasa. I thing I'll take him up on that. Btw, my TruGel says "made in china" on the side.

I purchased and installed this battery last week. I wasn't sure which one to buy, and since this one had no reviews, I was a little hesitant but decided to get it anyway. The 2 yr. warranty was a big plus. So far, all I can say is it fit perfectly. It's sort of weird seeing a battery shipped laying on its side. Time will tell if it last long enough to justify the price. It sat around the shop for 2 weeks before I installed it and it started the bike right away. So, overall, happy.

Motorcycle Windshield Cleaner
ITEM CODE: FCF4CLNR,   SKU: FCF4CLNR

The cleaner does seem to clean better than Windex but its just way too expensive. So 4 stars instead of 5. A bottle this small would be high at half this price.

Beverage Butler Motorcycle Drink Holder
ITEM CODE: PG02084

11.15.2009
I have a 34oz that I purchased last year. I use it mostly as a bottle holder. In the heat of summer I will ice a 20oz drink which it holds perfectly. It also holds my insulated 17oz coffee mug for those early morning rides. I will admit that it takes up a lot of room but I've gotten used to it. I have been thinking about getting the 20oz cup and trying it. It is available with just the cup and ring at a outlet here in Houston who does have internet sales in case you are interested, Tom. Sorry about that Wingstuff. I keep hoping you all will carry it soon. Anyway, its not as flashy as the chrome, but its a lot more pratical.

F4 Scratch Resistant Clear or Tinted Windshields for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PG20048

11.15.2009
I purchased the +2. When it finally arrived, I took the stock shield off and then prepped the bike for the new install. After that, I pulled the F4 out on the box and discovered they had sent the wrong one. I wanted the +4+vent hole and couldn't find a vent hole anywhere. When I contacted F4custom through Wingstuff they were happy to send a replacement which took another week. Since i didn't want to be down for a week, I had to put the old shield back on the bike and then do it all over again when the new one came. Lesson learned. Check the box FIRST. As for the new windshield, it looks and preforms fine although I think that they could have filed the edges a little better and they could have offered the rebate a little earlier. I missed it by that much. Such is life. If you want one, this is the time to buy. You won't see a better price, but check the box.

Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PRRBBB,   SKU: PRRBBB

11.08.2009
I have been searching for these for several months ever since my friend told me about them. I couldn't find them anywhere so I put the thought aside. Thanks Wingstuff for finding this product. I should have known you would come through sooner or later. As for the bumpers, a definite must have. Cheap insurance against a scuffed trunk. The install was easy and the spare wasn't needed. Next time you go shopping, throw these in your cart.

ITEM: HO08P54MCA100

After reading the reviews, I decided to spend the extra money and get the chrome. I also added the amber/blue/green ring of fire. The install was a piece of cake and the effect is awesome. Money well spent.

Lighted LED Red Lens Trunk Molding for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU3201,   SKU: KU3201

10.16.2009
I installed both the trunk and saddlebag mouldings and they do look great. However, I had the same problem that Andy had. One screw wouldn't tighten up. I'm happy to see that Kuryakyn took care of Andy's problem. Hopefully, they will replace mine in the same manner. Also, after I finished the install, I noticed that one light had pushed back into the molding. Since it was on the trunk, I just took the piece off and pushed it back out. I plan on taking the trunk moldings off and putting more silicone on the back of each light to hopefully fix the problem. I don't know if I can redo the saddlebag moldings because the corners of each piece are glued. So as usual, Kuryakyn has great products but lousy quality control. If they ever figure out how to build their designs without flaws and how to write instructions they will be an awesome company.

Factory OEM LED Lighted Trunk Spoiler for GL1800 1st Gen
ITEM CODE: PG00029

07.14.2009
I could not believe how easy this was to install. It seems like every add-on for the Goldwing is usually lacking understandable instructions. 30 minute jobs take 3 hours. This one took about 45 minutes, part of which was spent triple checking myself before I drilled the holes in the lid. Besides the easy install, the spoiler looks great. I also added the tailblazer modulator. I couldn't be happier with the results.
