The trim looks good but had to bend to make a proper fit. also I am a bit concerned about the tape securing it to my finder.
The scuff plates look good but the fit is questionable. As stated by another reviewer take your time they do need adjusting and this is why I am only giving it a three star. I sure hope they do not come off. I would rather of been able to purchase a clear stick on protector (I would rather see the paint) much like you see on sport bike tanks. Also, I would like to get a clear (see through) protector for the rear of bike where my helmets hang. This the time where the Wing Stuff Staff takes the opportunity to notice my hint. hehehe.
Although I felt this is a good product the problem is that after I installed it I was unable to store my fullface helmet in the trunk and close the cover. I have since removed the organizer.
Instructions very simple to follow, had these installed on my 09 Wing in little less than 1 hour. Superior ride, looking forward to my ride half way across country with these next summer. Very good product.
I hate these pads, they make all kinds of noise, rubbing on the rotor. I'm taking them off and buying the $16 set. Buyer beware!
I bougth this Back Rest against the advice of a friend. Glad I didn't listen. I love the comfort and versatility. Kuryakyn makes a good product.
Every thing about this item has already been covered. I you are considering a backrest all I can say is, this is the only back rest to consider, just get it. No drama to install, took me less then an hour and works great.
Sturdy construction, Greatly reduces the amount of dirt and rain grit which normally would cover the front lower cowling. Installation isn't as bad as you might think, but it does become a bid more easy if you have another person helping. Just watch out you don't drill through your front tire when your drilling holes in lower fender to mount it.
I purchased a set of these for my 2009 Wing shortly after buying it and taking my first long ride, no more dangling the legs. These are a great Highway Peg, and what I really like about them is that once you get them in the position you like the best and tighten them up, they stay there, not like other brands I have had on other model Wings. I good buy for the Buck.
HAVE 10,000 MILES ON MY FRONT TIRE. SO FAR NO CUPPING AND VERY LITTLE WEAR. HANDLES THE ROAD REAL GOOD. IT DOES HAVE A HUMMING NOISE WHEN IN A TURN. NO NOISE WHEN GOING STRAIT. I CAN LIVE WITH THAT. IT LOOKS LIKE I WILL GET THE MOST MILEAGE OUT OF THIS TIRE THAN ANY OTHER TIRE I HAD ON MY BIKE. I GIVE IT 5 STARS.
My first one was the unveted one. I agree that the heat is throrwn up to your feet more. It wasn't unbearable but noticable. Being in New England, it was kind of nice in the late fall/winter. This one is great. Same increase in stability in cross winds and when passing 18 wheelers plus the over heating feet thing went away with this one. Make sure you take off the white covering. Not much skill needed to install. Simply remove the bolts from two holes pictured on the side. Pull the sides out one at a time. There are adjusters on the sides on the pan to allow for adjustment.
Just installed and it sure cleaned up my ball of wires under the seat. Very easy to install and works like a champ. Should have put one of these babies on when I first purchased the bike.
