I installed one on both front and back today. Nice, will keep all my "small stuff" organized. I previously installed a Wing Stuff lid organizer, but couldn't close the lid after putting my helmet in, so I removed it. These two nets should be just fine for me.
Nice product. Very simple to install. Well designed (2 piece)for quick and easy access for oil and filter changes. Provides a piece of mind to protect the radiator over flow tank. One of those must have type items.
Follow up review. I had to reorder these and replace 2 (had to put something in the 2 holes). I found it easier to install them if as I was pulling on the lower part with a pair of needle nose pliers I tipped the top part and got part of the grove in the upper bumper started in the hole. From there it popped it, I also used KY to lubricate the bumper so it would go in easier (hey KY can have more than one use).
Ok, it has five stars for a reason, it's the best CB option for your Wing. Once you've got it installed it's basically flawless. Make sure you do the SWR adjustments. Will need to go to Radio Shack to get the right connectors for the hook up, but I remember the cost was less than $20 for everything.
Challenging install, but if you get it right, it's rock solid. I installed it by myself, could have used an extra hand, but the final bolt going in sure did make me feel good. Looks great and it's a strong hitch for the money.
I give it five stars because I've had zero problems with it and it looks excellent. It's secure and strong. I know some who say you need to use the larger washers, but I've installed the ones that came with it and abuse it regularly and not a single ill affect. One of the first items I installed and still going strong after over two years on the bike.
Use it on every trip. Secure and holds a lot of stuff. Easy off and has a handle so you can carry it into your hotel room like a suit case. Good fit and makes a good pillow for the wife. :-)
These do add a much needed touch of chrome to my silver Wing. As stated in many other reviews, I too believe these to be a bit expensive for plastic. If they keep their finish, I'll still be happy to have paid it. Lots of compliments on these babies.

Love this rack! Great chrome typical of the quality I'm used to from Kuryakyn. The hardest thing about the install was convincing myself to drill holes in the trunk of a new bike. Once I got past that, the install was a snap. Eventually I'll get the risers and a spoiler to complete the look I really want, but all in good time. Another great produt from Kuryakyn and Wingstuff! |
One of the best purchases I've ever made for my Wing. No more fatigue or hand cramps from those small factory grips. There is some heat loss, but also a LOT of vibration loss. Definitely a trade I'd make any day. Another awesome product from Kuryakyn and Wingstuff!

I installed this on my Wing in about 90 minutes. As stated in many reviews, I too love Kuryakyn's quality on everything that I've bought, but but have found their installation instructions to be somewhere between lousy and useless in most cases. This one is no different. Luckily this hitch is a very straight-forward install. A little common sense, patience, and a few extra tools to hit the right angles are all that's needed to git-r-done. I must admit I haven't towed with it because I haven't gotten a trailer yet, but I do have a hitch rack mounted on it right now. It's very sturdy and secure. Works great for the rack, and I'm sure it will for towing when the time comes. Very pleased. |
Looks good but looks can be deceiving. It's BIG. Whoever says it's not....well I don't know. Can't put an insulator over you drink because it won't fit past the rubber gripers so water gets hot fast. The position is right in the way if you need to reach the dash left handed for anything like changing display on Navi. Have made two trips with it and it's coming off tomorrow. Anyone want one used twice?
