Very nice product....once you get it together. This item is made where you have to take them back apart as well as your factory boards apart. You have to take parts out of your factory board to put them in the new ones. These should come ready to install out of the box. How much extra would it have cost Kuryakyn to do this? On top of this, the first set I received would not go back together once you put the plate from the factory board in. There was not enough room. Luckily, WingStuff is GREAT to work with and they have a new set on the way to me, but this is a very poor design from Kuryakyn. I've sent Kuryakyn an email telling them about my disappointment, but they never responded. Maybe if all owners would send them a message asking them to provide a kit that you can take out of the box and install, they will. |

| Dittos to all the positive comments on the reviews. Just finished a 2,400 mile trip and some night driving in the mountains Blue Ridge Parkway). these lights are worth the investment. Not only safer regarding to oncoming traffic but really helps in lighting up the road, especially the sides (looking for Bambi!)installation was no problem. careful when cutting out the blanks. I impatiently used a rotary Dremel tool and it caught and scarred a little of the chrome inside the recess but still looks terrific! |
| Purchased this product based on the many positive reviews of others. truly added a nice look to the front. I added the LED Hondaline fog lamps and together it is a very distinguished look. I was initially concerned it would be too much chrome but it is wasn't for me. Take precaution when cutting out the fog light blanks. I used a Dremel rotary tool but it grabbed a couple of times and nicked the chrome slightly but not apparent unless you look into the recess. Finished a 2,400 mile trip and the chrome cleaned up like new...careful with the alignment, keep thinks loose initially until you at least get the bolts started. |
| These fit perfect. The only problem was the top screw in the side bag was too short and I had to find one that was longer and would work. They will help keep things from moving around. |
| The trunk rug was slightly bigger, but the saddlebag rugs were a perfect fit. They were added touch to the inside of the bags and trunk and help keep items from liding around. |
| We had our dealer install the Centramatic Wheel Balancers prior to our trip to Florida. I could immediately feel an improvement in handling the Wing especially at lower speed. We were running 70-MPH all the way back on US-95 and it was smooth! I agree with others who have observed less fatigue during and after a long haul. Too early to evaluate tire-wear; will report in later. Ride enjoyment increased equally with the increase in the quality of the ride. |
| These came on my 07 wing when i bought it new,i got 13000 kms out of the first tire,i also towed a cargo trailer 5000 kms out of that.Put a dunlop elite 3 on at 13000kms and have been running it for 6000kms, I find the dunlop is really loud and not as sm0th as the stones.When the dunlop wears out i have a bridgestone 704 out in the garage ready to replace it.Think i,m going to stick with the bridgestones |

| I couldn't imagine running anything except Bridgestone tires on my bike!! Owned two Wings and the first one came with Metzler's installed. They "cupped out", with 50% tread remaining. Second Goldwing,(an '02), came with Stones and the ONLY reason I'm replacing them at 10K miles is due to the age of the tire, NOT because of treadlife remaining. Using an "actual" tread measuring device, my "old" tires have 60% of the tread that my brand new Bridgestone's came with. Considering this, along with the overall quality I have enjoyed with every mile, including smooth quiet ride, safe grip on ANY road surface and not once did I have to fight with "tar snakes". Bottom Line,...this tire was MADE for everything the Goldwing can dish out and more !! |
