I'm giving Wig-Wag Brake Modulator only 4 Stars, primarily because the maunufacture Signal Dynamics Corp (SDC) instructions were horrible at best. I wrote SDC after reading their Sales Rep review, who stated back in 2009 SDC was writing installation instructions for Goldwings. Sad to report, but just another pretty face telling us what we want to hear. Needless to say SDC did not write instructions, however my fellow GL1800 riders group web page did add in their "Step-by-step" section instructions and your reviewers notes, won the day and I was able to install the "Wig-Wag" in about three hours. Again Wing Stuff was quick on the delivery and great customer service. Too bad SDC hasn't taken a page from your play book! Take care and thank you for the great products at a fair price!
I added Velcro to the bottom of the mats. They look good and help protect carry on items.

After putting 10k miles on these tires, under heavy rain and in hot and cold weathers, I must update my previous feedback about the Avons. 1. Tire mileage is great - 10k miles so far and more to go. Bridgestones usually live 12-13 k miles. 2. Wet road handling is excellent! 3. Highspeed handling is excellent! 4. Cornering - as I've mentioned before there's no better tire for cornering but Avon! 5. Handling on these tires is sharp unlike on E3. 6. These are defenetly quiet tires. All of the above is true in case you follow the recomended tire pressure 41psi front and 42 psi rear. Avon is very sensitive to the tire pressure, even 2 psi lower make noticeable difference. I wrote about low speed wobbling @ 5 mph - it has gone recently once I've pumped the tires to 43-45 psi according my tire gauge! I took 4 different gauges and all of them showed the different pressure - 5 psi gap! So IMHO - if you feel something wrong with your tire (wobbling, weaving etc), check the pressure with several gauges - yours might be wrong! My front tire already has the groove at the left side that made the handlebar to wobble @ 20 mph. It has gone too after pumping the tire to actual pressure! And sure, I have to mention that my bike has Traxxion front and rear and Seeley damper. |
Great addition to my 91 Aspencade. Fit is excellent and the 3-D look makes the side marker lights stand out. No problems at all with the installation. Fast shipping.
Install the rack with no problem but I did make a least three recheck on position of the rack before drilling. It looks good, it is sturdy and at a good price.
Install them with no problems. The 3 star rating is over the material that the eagles are made of. I was snugging down the eagle on the second flag pole and one of the wings of the eagle broke off. The eagles must be made of cheat metal so I use super glue to attach the wing back on. So far the wing is holding but later on if it comes off again I will be replacing them with balls inserts.
Yep. They spark. All six of them. As Martha Stewart said: "That's a good thing."
Just installed mine yesterday. Love it makes my Goldwing stand out.

Very easy install. Beautiful chrome work. Adds a lot to the over all looks of the motorcycle. Takes 5 minutes to get used to the difference in the controls. Highly recommend. Glen Reed |
Overpriced for what they are but are not butt ugly like all the other armrests and the wife loves them. Installation can be a bear if you're not mechanically inclined.
Bought a couple of these shirts in the spring. Wanted to wear them on a trip before reviewing. They worked great. Kept the sun off and have held up after many washings. Am going to order some more!
