These tires are amazing for the first 8,000 miles. Silky smoothe quiet and handle like a dream in all weather conditions. They made the bike handle as if it was 100 pounds lighter. I ride 2-up conservatively. I check the air pressure all the time. I run the recommended 41 psi the manufacturer calls for. Overnight the low speed vibration showed up at about 10,000 miles. They tire still showed plenty of tread life, however the front was cupped and seemed out of round. The rear tire showed plenty of tread life left. I ran over something on the last 40 miles of a 1200 mile trip and had a flat rear. I was able to keep shiny side up and come to a stop. Call me crazey but it is unreasonable to think I should get more than 10,000 miles out of a set of tires. My wing came with Dunlaps got about 12000 miles out of them. Did Metzers got a little better but the noise in the turns showed up at about 10,000 miles. About the same life out of Avons. I'm going to try the Bridestones next. I let you know. |
| Good looks but could have been tighter fit one of the knobs seems to be a little loose not sure if the tape was bad installing it but will use something else to hold it in better. |
| Easy to in stall in few mins on each side not sure if I still need to get the extra rings or not seem to fit okay haven't gone out yet to test them, but they look good anyway. |
| fit is good wandering how long the type will hold the piece on? could have been fitted into lens ring somehow to make it more secure, but I like the look. |

| YEP, GIVING THESE 5 STARS FOR MY GL 1800 TRIKE,NOT SO MUCH CHROME JUST A BIT WILL DO-THESE SETS THE DASH AREA OFF WITHOUT TOO MUCH CHROME CLUTHER-LOOKS GREAT TOO-MAKE SURE OIL OR GREASE THE INSIDE CAPS FOR AN EASY FIT,BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO SLIDE ON METAL CLIPS AS WELL ON THE RADIO KNOBS STEMS OR STUDS- SO GO GET SOME. |
| Okay, now that the SO has been on a trip with me I can confirm that we love this windshield!! I ride with it all the way up and look thru. It's clear and pushes the air away for both of us. Great windshield!! |
| I got these for my 2010 and love them. They are great in the hot weather and now that it is starting to get cool they direct the cool air away from you. Will always have them, one of the best items I have bought since I got the wing :) |
