| Great product, I should have installed these much earlier! The install was absolutely easy as it gets. Technical level needed maybe a 2 out of 10. The package arrived labeled GL 1500, but the paperwork said GL 1800, and it works great! |

Just an update to the review I previously posted: I give WingStuff 5 stars for Rodney contacting me on a Saturday afternoon to let me know that they have investigated the situation and had indeed found that the picture on the product page (That did not show the additional bracket arm) had not been updated when Baker changed the mounting system to now include this arm. He assured me that they will rectify this immediately and took the time to explain what steps were being taken and offered to do whatever it took to help me with this situation. Now that is what I call customer service! WingStuff and Rodney get an A+ in my book – class act guys! |
| The kit is now correct for the later bikes, it has everything you need to service your forks!!!! |

These units installed flawlessly and as described.... no issues .... Literally a 3-5 minute installation. See my photo gallery for pics of these installed (clear plastic type) on my 08'. If you read my review about the "NEW Generation Baker Built GL1800 Dual Adjustable Air Wings w/Lowers", you know I am not pleased about that product, however, I do find the "hand-wings" package truthful and accurate. |

Giving 2 stars because the photo of the wings/mounting bracket on the description page is not accurate compared to what I received. When I received the "new generation air wings w/ lowers", I was REALLY upset to see that the fairing mounting bracket included another (ugly, in my opinion) chrome support bar / cross-member - running from left to right, under the fairing console (as seen in my photo gallery) - If I would have known this, I would NOT have ordered this, at all, no questions!!!! I think it is certainly obtrusive and detracts from the clean look I was trying to maintain....... I really should have just sent it back, but it has already dipped to 29 degrees in GA, and I need the protection, so against my better aesthetical judgement, i installed anyway. Although function may be excellent, I do have a certain issue with miss-representation ... I point this out as no one else has made mention .... so maybe I was given an incorrect order ... either way, I'm not pleased. As for installation, I also agree with Donald (As seen below in other reviews) to use what he calls a "Christmas tree bit", or as I call it, a step bit, rather than the included wood/paddle bit if you want an accurate hole in plastic. If you don't have a step bit already, go ahead and invest, you will use it later, trust me. I installed these deflectors, in addition to the "Baker New Gen Hand Wings", without any major issue. The Hand wings are very easy and a 10 minute install (No drilling, easy bolt-on), while the fairing "Dual adjustable air wings w/lowers" do take a little more time, especially for drilling and "ugly looking support bars across your fairing" installation. I ordered the clear wings for my 08' - since I was TRYING to keep the look of my GL clean and pretty, but, even with my snide remarks aside, all instructions were clear and concise yielding no major issues - just take your time to line up your drilling points. At the end of the day, the look is up to you, but I feel some sort of responsibility to report what I received. Best Regards, |

Bought here a few months ago, wow can this small thing pump air. Keep it in my bike all the time, tested by letting some air out of my rear tire. Surprised how fast it filled the tire back up to 40psi quickly, being so small in physical size. Good product! Ronnie |

These look good and help increase visability behind you while riding. Besides lights, being able to see is another way to ride safer! I'm thinking about painting them white to color match my bike. 3 stars because you can't buy them color matched anymore, no big deal I guess. Ronnie |
| So far so good. It's a must have for safety. |
| This is a must have if you have a passenger with you. You must swing them open to open the trunk, but you will get used to that. |
| I had to replace the fork seals on my 01, so I thought why not change the bearings while I had the front off. It was a little difficult getting the old one out, but finally with a little help from the trusty Dremel, I got them out. I had a local dealer press the ones onto the stem just to be safe. I made my own tool for the steering nut out of galvanized pipe, again cutting out the indentions with the Dremel. At the same time I had the deal install the progressive springs because I had them on a previous Wing I had owned and loved them. Even with 10,000 miles on the Bridgestones, I could tell an immediate difference in the low speed handling. I would never have taken my hands off of the handlebars before, but I just had to try it once and the bike ran true and straight. I am ready for a new stone on front and can't wait to see how many miles I get out of it. My advice is, if you've got to take the front-end off for any reason, go ahead and install these then. I asked my dealer why didn't Honda admit there was a problem and install these bearings on the new ones. He said they would have to do a recall on all of the older bikes and it would cost too much. |
| Easy install and work well especially in the summer to bring more air across your body. Stick on rubber bumpers missing but found the same thing at Home Depot. Would be five stars if the bumpers were there |
