Like I said I would buy this product again and I did. It works great on the windshield and a for a quick clean up for the Goldwing.
Adds a little bling to the back of my Goldwing. And it protects the paint against key scratches. As far as the price it is still the cheapest around and it's pennys compare to the other add one that i have bought at Wingstuff.
Actually bought and installed these last summer. Thought I had submitted my review but it appears that I hadn't so here it is. Would have given it 5 stars, but was kind of a pain to install and the washer and pivot system could designed a bit better. Anyway, the product is solid! I didn't like the trunk mounted styles because the wife is short and tends to use the arm rests to help her get on the bike, and I saw many broken trunks in my future. Again these are very solid and secure.
The installation was easy and connecting the wires was simple. It really adds some flair to the bags and trunk. Be very careful when using the screws since the plastic is very flimsy and will crack. Some of the screw holders cracked no matter how careful I was. The strips stayed in place and I've gotten a lot of great comments. Just be very careful during install with the screw attachments.
Installed in seconds and just adds that little additional bling to the bike
just add them my wing their great keep air off my hands and feet its been cold down here for the last few weeks. opened the lower one a little bit and got the heat rad
had o them installed on my 2005 gla along with new tires, bearings, and front fork brace, also had dyna beads and nitrogen installed in my tires what a big help rides smoother and no more shimmy either on acceleration or down speeding, highly recommend doing it all at the same time, so more chrome will have to wait a bit
yelp had them put on my 2005 wing, with 25k miles, i had a slight shimmy around 40mph, i also had a progressive spring set installed and shocks serviced at the same time, i have the whole package now with the front fork brace and new bridgeston tires as well, rode 75 miles today and what a big differance these parts made,no worries about corning and handling now. happy riding had my done at kens cycle center johnson city TN all 815.00 drop off and ride out, tires, springs, bearings also i would definatley use dyna beads in the tires along with nitrogen they work

Pay close attention to the caveat at the end of the product description and the extra pictures--- this battery is quite a bit smaller than stock, and you will need to build up the battery box with foam shims (provided) to make it fit. You will also need to either bend or trim the battery connections because the terminals on the Shorai don't allow room for the normal "bend" in the Goldwing connectors. I just cut mine a little shorter using a Dremel motor tool. The battery has a shipping weight of only 3 pounds, contains no liquid to freeze, and sounds like a real dream. Once I got mine installed, the bike started without a problem and even seemed to have a little extra zip to the starter--even though the battery comes with only a 90% charge on it. I haven't had this long enough to see the long-term effects, but I'm looking forward to all the benefits. I only gave it 4 stars because the terminal posts are flimsy, the nuts are cheap and make it unnecessarily difficult to get the screws started when connecting it to the bike. I hope this is not an indication of the overall quality of construction. Did I mention that the bike did start right up, and it seems to work just fine? And it trims over 10 pounds off the weight of the bike, requires zero maintenance, doesn't discharge when it sits, and won't freeze? (smile) |

I agree with Richard. I dont like these. The template was misleading as to where the front bumpers go. If I drilled where it indicated the plastic was too thick due to the way the courner joint is layered. I installed the back 2 bumpers with ease, and I incorporated Richards fuel tubing across the front - thing of beauty! Thanks for the tip! |
Good value and they fit properly.
Good product with a reasonable fit. Good value for the money.
