Does what its supposed to do with zero fuss. Agree with using a black sharpie to black out the advertising on the back; we know where we bought this stuff! I would recommend removing the factory small aluminum ring from the FOB and just going with the split-ring to hold the FOB to the key; it shortens up the whole thing, allows less flopping around in the wind, and allows the FOB to lay in the 'chrome key guard with rubber insert' you should also get....better ;P
I bought the gold one and installed it right-side up. It could be installed either way to suit different tastes. I think it actually fit a little better upside down though. Mine looks great and will do the job if I ever use the key in the lock! Remotes are addictive :)
Installed very easily, but I agree that the adhesive tape can be tricky. Take your time and it will come out nicely. Adds just enough to the mirror area to give a finished look. Scha-weet!
I installed this on my 2010 Goldwing after work yesterday, for me seemed pretty simple hardest was getting the wings parts off since I've never done that. Took me about 1 hour ±, Did make a change or two with the wireing because it wouldn't route as the instruction stated. End result works great now have upper brake lites and signals. Now just have to find red bulbs for the original amber signal bulbs. You will probably get pulled over for having two different colors blinking back there. Anyone knows where I can get red (Bright leds prefered) let me know .Thanks and Ride Safe and Ride Often.
Installed in less than a minute, and that includes taking the old one off. No tools, just used fingernails and it popped right off. Just enough sparkle in the dash area. Nice touch, looks good.
Had to mount on top because of interference with wind deflector on bottom. Other than that they work great, well worth the investment.
I installed these immediately I bought the wing. When I bought it the wing had 4500 miles on it and the front wheel seemed pretty cupped to me ( the front of the tread pattern was higher then the back. The bike still has the oscillation at 30 - 45 mph when I take my hands off, but otherwise it is pretty smooth.
FYI, I have a locally modified seat to where I sit back farther. As an afterthought, I called Utopia as my backrest is enroute. I was told I could have ordered the backrest with the vertical bar bent for my seat. The stitching on my modified seat, front stitches to back stitches where the vertical bar goes between is only about 3/4" wide on my bike. They told me how to re-shape the bar for my use. So if you have a modified seat, make sure you do a telephone order with Wingstuff and specify your mod so Utopia can send a bar bent accordingly.

I was hesitant to install them…the chrome mounting brackets makes it look to gaudy. I was told I could get black brackets… If you’re looking to keep a clean look to the bike, I suggest using the black brackets instead of the chrome. With the exception of the bottom cross bracket glad I installed them they work great…lets you control the mount of air you want. |
Fast delivery, used her hair spray as directed (she didn't like that) slid right on with little effort. Great product.

I bought the Kury ISO grips based on all the reviews to replace the factory grips on my '06 Wing. Well worth the purchase! They look great, are larger in diameter than the stock grips and are quite comfortable. |
We purchased our GW1800 from a Bushtec dealer and had the Bushtec hitch installed at the dealership before picking up the bike using the Bushtec receiver, not the ball mount. We have pulled the trailer over 20K miles in the last two years. Wouldn't trade it for anything.
