A must for the DIY & gearheads, like me. Very detailed info about all systems & chassis w/ pictorals & diagrams. The eletrical diagrams & trouble shooting section are A-1!
UPdated review after 3k mi. THe chrome plating is beginning ot peel at the foot 'edges', likely from scraping of rocks, etc. Quality plating jobs should not peel under normal use or mild abrasion- EVER!! So must downgrade my rating of their product.

OK, this was a wild shot but I put them on my Can-Am Spyder RT, lost some religion on the Throttle side and then added the Kewlmetal helmet locks. Will order a new sleeve for the throttle side incase I ever have to remove them, but it looks great. I can e-mail a picture if somebody wants to see how it looks on a Can-Am Spyder RT (they have heated grips) |
Ordered one for the driver (me) and the passenger one. Only had time to put on one so mama comes first. She absolutely loves it, will mount mine soon. The cup stays in the holder well and no spillage due to bumps and the likes.
This cover makes a good dust cover. First time I used the cover it rained and my seat was wet the next morning. The whole bike wasn't wet, just some areas.
Added these when I mounted my new 'Stones. Thought I would give it a try. After watching the videos it sounded like snake oil. But it is not. Ride is now very smooth to about 70mph (so far). Vast improvement, but then the old tire was heavily cupped and past due. Used my Slime compressor to vibrate the tube to get the beads to go in. After one figures out the where to hold the vibration source and the angle of the tube, it is interesting to watch the beads go in. Only down side I can see is that one can not use a emergency sealer with them. And getting them in the tire thru the valve stem might be tough if one has inside the tire TPMS sensors. Don't ever see going back to old-fashioned stick-on weights again.
Easy to install. Took about 15 minutes. Quieted the trunk about 80% of what it was. Hard to tell on the chafing because there is so much already. Definitely made it harder to close the trunk and the remote opener does not work because of the tension. Reading other reviews lends me to believe that they will "break in" and become easier to close. I will give them another review after long term use.
Like some of the reviews, drilling holes ??, But worked out well and look very nice, Great product,Great shipping and easy install.I also installed the wings for the hands, no problems.
Easy to apply and looks great with my chrome trunk and saddlebag trim.
Good item. Installs easy but be warned. It does make it much more difficult to close trunk if you put a helmet in the trunk. If you have lots of stuff in the organizer it becomes impossible.
Nice piece of chromed metal, not plastic, for the front fender. Real easy to install and looks terrific on my pearl orange Wing.
Just finished a 2200 mile group ride. My wife and I were sitting on these. Worked great, not monkey butt. Same can not be said for others in our group. All were asking were to get the beaded seat covers. Just be mindfull with the hooks during install and removel.
