Fairly straight forward install. Would be very easy except you have to remove the rear passenger backrest, seat and rear fender which takes time. Plug and play with the wiring. The new LEDs are great. Very bright and love the turn signals, running light, and brake light. Really lights up the rear of the bike. Really like the idea of having a turn signal at eye level especially if you have a trailer. Product itself is 5 stars. Oh, as suggested below, route the wires up instead of down. Easier with the smaller end caps to go up. Gave it 4 stars only because of apparent issues at Electrical Connection. Product was on backorder over 1 month. When I called EC to find out the status of the backorder, they were not well organized and were confused at best. Had no idea when they were going to fill the orders to Wingstuff, probably one of their biggest customers. Finally received the product and it was minus the cable ties and only had one page of instructions - at least one page more should have been included as the instructions referenced a photo at the end which simply wasn't there. This is the 2nd EC part I have ordered. I cancelled the first order after being on back order for several months. |
| I purchased one of these years ago for my VTX. The rubber pads are for gripping on a chrome handlebar. That said, discard them as mount as shown. Open the quick release gripper, unscrew to slip over the seat handle grip, screw to almost tight, and lock down for a firm grip. It will leave a indentation marks on your seat handle grip. It's a cheap way to add a very convenient accessory. I use it even when riding solo because it's so easy to reach back and grab my favorite beverage. Enjoy! |
| The white light is much clearer than the yellow light. Much easier to see with at night. Anyone who can not see better with these bulbs needs to see an eye doctor. |
| Installation was easy however, wife did not like the bars hitting her legs (she had bruises after a 5 hr ride). I have a Mustang seat on my 08 and this backrest did not provide the comfort that I expected. So I went to a Mustang backrest and WOW what a difference. I have also tried the Utopia and liked it, but with the Mustang seat, I cant use the Utopia. Installation 5 stars, passenger comfort 1 star, driver comfort 3 stars. |
| Well I didn't get to much of a test on this product. I had two Conti. tires installed with these. Without a static balance in the front and using the wheel balancers I got very bad cupping and the rear tire didn't last long enough for a review. As for the front besides the swishing of the beads at low speeds. You have to account for the wheels not being properly being balanced. Check this out in order the the wheels to accually be balance with this product you have to be going at a reasonable speed for the bead to adhere within the cylinder itself. So I figured at low speeds your wheel is not being balanced and may run into some unusual wear. So here's a question for you all when you had your tire put on did you have the wheel balance before you put the centramatic balancers on that's why it's working for you. Or did you not balance your wheels then put the balancers on. Try that let me know I'm curious..to see if you get the same reaction. Oh by the way I willing to sell my wheel balancers to anyone cheap email me. |
| works very good and it comes with a wire to hook to the battery. |

Putting my first set of Cobra tires on my 2005 Wing after a very happy run with Dunlop Elite 3's. My question to those who run Cobras on their Wings: What is your recommendation for tire pressure? I am 210 pounds, the wheels have centramatix balancers on them, the suspension has all new springs (front and rear), and I typically ride solo/heavy! I ride year round and put a LOT of miles on the bike. Your recommendations for the better tire pressure to run on the tires (I do a lot of mountain road travel in throughout CA as well) would be greatly appreciated. You can contact me via WingStuff if you are a VIP member, or via my e-mail: [email protected]. Looking forward to the info. Rich Hockett |

There isn't a one of you out there that can't do your own maintenance; and Fred's video series can help you do just that. He's to the point and shows you not only how to do the job, but also what to look out for. Something your factory manual can't do. This won't replace your manual (you should always use it when performing mantenance on your Wing) but it sure enhances it. What are you waiting for? Get your own today! |

What else is there to say? Easy install . . . very nice addition. |

I have had this holder with the KU1459 and cup for 2 months. I've been using bottled beverages or other drink containers up until this past weekend. Apparently, the Kuryakyn cup, when full and placed in this holder, is top heavy. And, if the wing nut happens to back off/loosen up, the cup will flip the holder upside down. My Kuryakyn cup is somewhere along Interstate 10 in LA. Of course both my trike and I got to wear the tea that was dumped. The holder has been re-tightened with a generous helping of loc-tite. |
| These work great ordered a size larger than my foot size for proper fit worked great in rain fold up and fit back in bag perfect. my buddy told me i look like a space man with these my frogg toggs rain suit and helmet but i was completely dry |
| After installing, the starter spins like a top first time. Some reviews report post not aligning with battery cables. There are two spacers porvided with the battery attached to the positive battery terminal cover. You use these to hold the cable ends away from the battery box so that it doesn't interfer with alignment. Works like a charm. |
