Nice chrome addition to the bike, adds a touch of class
This is a very nice addition. Nice chrome and plenty of tape to hold it in place.
Went on without any trouble and looks great. First peice anyone should add.
I received my kit a few days ago. The bag is really nice - lots of storage, cubby-holes, even a carrying strap. There were a couple of issues with the hitch rack. I had to make the holes larger so that the rods would fit all the way through. There are also some VERY sharp edges on the mesh in bottom of the rack. I managed to get them trimmed off without too much trouble. Otherwise, this is a great idea for a "Poor Man's Trailer." My wife and I are looking forward to using it this spring.
ordered this shirt before xmas. Still haven't got it backed ordered till february

Well yes they do fit but the mounting bolt to the mount on the engine guard is different. So I had to go get a couple of 1/2 x 2 inch bolts and nuts to put them together. But I need to figure out a way to hold the nut inside the outside engine guard mounting piece so that I can put all four of those small hex bolts in. Other wise I put the arm on the piece but then I couldn't get one of the small bolts in. With these arms and my Kuryakyn Seat (Mustang) my seating position allows my lower legs to be under my windwings. Much like a recliner. Not sure if I need some handlebar risers, I'll have to ride it a while to find out. |
put these on a year or so back. Was not to hard to install just had to take you time in the lay out. They did make it hard to close the lid for a while but have worked out fine.
Saved a lot of time did order the Y connector too so didn.t have any problems.
I installed this last year. I agree with the other reviewers, these lights are what drivers behind you will see first, they are bright. I did order the plug and play harness too, via a phone call to WS. The EC part# 08102 for 1800's, 08101 for 1500's. (you still need to connect 3 of the 5 wires of the harness to the 3 wires on the light, but you won't be splicing wires in the boot, the turn signal wires are not used. EC included harness installation directions were right on). I chose the clear lens and mounted it above the license plate since I have the famous eagle license frame.
I installed these on my 2007 wing and experienced the same favorable advantages that others have written about. When I installed the rubber bumpers I sprayed them and the hole with some "Original Spray Cleaner Polish" pn. TR530396 and they went through the hole fairly easily especially if I wiggled the bumper a little. The spray polish also works well to install and aids in removal of the side covers when sprayed on the rubber gromets.
I installed the Ku 7339 Gen 2 fork brace in 2011 and noticed an instant more solid feel in the front end of my 2007 Wing. I have not experienced the wing wobble on that bike so I cannot relate to that issue. The install was easy and straight forward. One side of the bracket was a bit snug but it did fit after some persuasion. A solid nice looking brace with built in dust covers.
I installed these several years ago and they have held up well and are a great looking accent to the bags at night. The install was easy but one suggestion that I would make is to slightly warm the attachment screws with a propane torch or match [unless you are installing during hot weather] as mine had a tendancy to want to split the plastic that the screw goes into. Be carefull to just warm the screws so that they are very warm to the touch-too hot and they will damage the plastic.
