At riding for 40 years the !800 Goldwing has been the best forever My 2005 is also. I like this item it has been better than any windshield i have ever had. The one thing though is that it looks like it has spots like broken if i can say, when the sun is up high it has a glair all of the time. i have used good cleaners but it is not on the out side of the shield. Any body have any ides about how to get the glair out of my Windshield? |

Works as advertised and has 3 different ways to connect to the battery. International customers beware! This unit only works with 110V mains and cannot be switched. It will NOT work with 220V - 240V mains like Australia. This is not mentioned anywhere on the Wingstuff product page. I had to buy a step-down transformer from 220V to 110V that cost me almost double the price of the charger. Wingstuff, you need to make mention of this on your website to warn international customers that this unit will ONLY work with 110V mains with the US wall socket configuration (2 flat pins). Only 2 stars because I would not have bought it had I known about the 110V. |
| I purchased this monitor March 8, 2012. I noticed the design of the sensors was great but the monitor was cheaply made. The casing of the monitor was not well put together and the battery cover did not close tightly. The item came with a plastic cover, witch improve the outer appearance of the monitor. The manual states the monitor is not water proof. I had this monitor less than six weeks and the digital display stopped working. I called Wing stuff and was informed to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer and spoke with Marshal on Monday, April 23, 2012. She asked me numerous questions concerning the monitor. She asked did I drop it, "No" I replied. She asked did it get wet. I said yes. It rain on it. I had placed the monitor on my key chain with the supplied key chain holder. I was informed she would call me back. Mrs. Marshall called me back the following day and basically said because of my negligent I would have to pay for a new monitor at a cost of $125.00. I said no....The manual did not state the monitor was not water resistant it stated it was not water proof. There is a difference.... |
| I really like the look and the slight difference in the sound (a little deeper exhaust sound). See photos for full image on the bike. I have over 4000 miles on them and no issues. |
| They worked and installed ok but I found I really did not use them. I prefer having the extra space for the saddle bag liners (luggage bags). |
| My wife and I went on a three day trip. The luggage liners made it very easy to pack and unload each night. I use the saddle bag liners every week as I need to change after riding to work. Excellent value. |
| I have over 4000 miles on the floorboards and they are doing fine! Added the 3/8" floorboard protectors from Traxxion (steel versus plastic). I am 6' 2" with a size 11 boot - no issues with shifting. They give me the ability to shift my foot around. It also makes moving back and forth from the forward pegs easier. |

I also bought my seat direct from Ultimate Seats for the options I wanted and this was only listed as a Trike version here. I'm 6', 190lbs, but with an inseam of 35". The King seat fits me perfectly. I always felt cramp on the OEM seat. I now actually feel stretched out. I do have handlebar risers (in Tall rider position) and now my arms are basically straight out which to me is more comfortable and more like my previous cruiser. My wife felt the backrest for her gave her more support to her upper back. Rode it to work today for the first time with seat mounted and with the seat heater on, my buns were actually getting hot, had to turn the dial back a couple notches (was always on max for the OEM seat and barely felt it). I got mine with the OEM heating, black ostrich side inlays and silver monogram stitching. Just gives it that little extra pop when you look at the bike now. The only thing that bothered me was with the drivers backrest. It just slid in and I felt no locking to it and it would just wobble in the holder and when pushed back it actually pressed forward in seat. After my initial ride, I looked at it again a little closer. Found that the slot for the back rest was actually slightly behind the seat cutout. Once I put it into the "actually" bracket it locked in correctly and is now very secure. For me, with the bike on the center stand, I can not reach the ground any more flat footed (toes still give me enough to push off of the stand). When I'm stopped on the bike, my feet are more under me (flat footed) now instead of being ahead of me on the ground, so it definitely raises you up. Can't wait to do some longer distance riding on it now (IBA 'notso' Saddle Sore coming up in June). |
| went on alot easier than I anticpated took longer to drill and tap out a bolt I broke for the passenger floorboard holder cover. The pictures with the directions aren't the greatest but once you get going everything just falls in place. I used the Kuryackyn wiring harness and 5 to 4 wire converter and that was a no brainer also. Looking forward to hitting the raod. |
| Man, this was easy. truly plug and play. With the addition of my other lights in the rear, having my spoiler as a running/brake light was a must. |
| Order at least one size, maybe two, larger than you normally wear. Ordered XL for my wife and it fit like a medium. Nice jacket otherwise. Milton. |
| Bought my '96 with ShowChrome deflectors already on it. They looked and worked well. With research, I finally decided to go with Baker Built. On the 1500, they install easily. Instructions were clear, all parts needed were there. Quality of the chrome is excellent. After 380 miles, wish I had done this sooner. Bought the bike two years ago. I like the adjustability of having uppers and lowers. |
