I had R3B's install 7 years ago by the owner of Pakit Rak while at a GWRRA Rally in Bakersfield on my then brand new 2005 GL1800. Lat year after 6 years of use I managed to break two of the R3B's off so I picked up some new ones at Wingstuff and replaced all 4 R3B's. I had replaced one earlier with the Extra one Pakit Rak provides with the originals, what a PAIN to install, not easy to get into the hole! Anyways, they have changed the design of the R3B's. They are very easy to install now that they added a bit of a tail to them that can be grabbed with pliers and easily pulled through the mounting holes! 7 years and 52,000 miles on my Wing with ZERO trunk chaffing or any other problems that may be related to the R3B's! Simple inexpensive solution that works! |
| I'm as happy as a clam with this windshield. It does everything they claim. Much stiffer, no buffeting, less wind on myself and the passanger and not much distortion when I'm looking through the shield. Honda should have been the ones to reseach this further. maybe on their 2014 Goldwing they'll get it right. I would recommend this change to all goldwings. Oh I forgot to mention this. It makes for a much more stable platform for anyone who is mounting their GoPro on the side of the windshield such as I do. |
| The tongue bent after 3,000 kilometers this item should be thicker, braced and the bend should be up not down everything else is excellent. |
| It does what it say it does. It should be cheaper then it is. It's a cheap piece of pleather with low class snaps. The snaps do see to hold fine. But it will serve my purposes.. |
| Great product and needed for your pins. My problem is the Allen Wrench that came with it was smooth and would not tighten the small nut. It had no beveled edges!! Good thing I had an 1.5mm allen in my tool kit. But had I not I would have had to send this thing back..So that's why the 3 star rating... |
| Just got my new (Post-recall) Transformer Floorboards in the mail. No more disassembly of the old boards to canibalize assembly parts - these are a 1-piece assembly and completely Chromed. No more mis-matched parts (Honda boards and mounting swivel are not Chromed). Beautifull to look at.... We'll see how long they last. |
| Update to my previous post. Dealt with Rodney over my poor chrome issue. The matter has now been resolved. I have to say it was quick and painless. Rodney looked after my problem. Completely satisfied. |

This is a very nice backrest. Very comfortable and easely adjustable. Installation was easy.... but not fool-proof. The supplied bolts in my kit, had heads that were too tall - hitting the fuse box and thereby not allowing the seat to re-install in the original position. If you watch the installation video from the manufacturer; the bolts they use for the install are not the same as supplied in the kits(Ten demerits!). I used a high speed grinder to remove the excess mateial from the bolt heads and Voila! When manufacturers try to save .20 cents; the customers wind up spending $20.00 to compensate for their fragality! |

Installed and requires drilling your top box. Measure twice, cut once. I like the idea that one spare piece is supplied - wish more suppliers did that |

Was peeved at having lights on my bike that didn't work so I decided to do something about it. Purchased these, and connected them up as additional brake lights, added a KuryakynPulsing Brake Light Controller. Now the back lights up like it should !!! Am very happy - a very small price, a little bit of time invested installing and now a bike that is even more visible in all conditions. |

It blocks wind alright and brings zero wind around to you when its hot. I replaced these with the baker new generation adjustable hand wings. The Bakers will: 1. Block just as wind as the upper fairing side wind deflector 2. Bring cool air around the bike to the driver on days 90 degrees plus 3. Cost half as much as the upper fairing side wind deflectors |
