Installed the wheel balancers last fall. wanted to actually test them so rode the Smoky Mountains and deal gap. WOW they really work was able to lean the bike much mor then normal and able to scrape the pegs over and over again. love them
the tape would not stick on the corners even though i cleaned them very good.I had to put a drop of glue on them to get them to hold other than that they look great
Received my swoops yesterday and had them installed in less than an hour. Instructions were good and the swoops look great. I agree with Huggybear about the issue getting the lid hinges to line up. I used a small wire hooked through the hinge and pulled it up to meet the holes on the lid, screwed in one screw, removed the wire and put the other screw in. For the price, I would expect a packet of dielectric grease included. I still give them a 5 star rating. Great product.
Instruction are the worse that I have seen. Come on, how about a video or step by step pictures. I have a master degree but these instruction make me feel like a 1st grader. For those of you that have time to kill, like a 2 weeks then go for it.
real easy install about 5 min.and adds so much to a otherwise bland rear fender
Read other reviews and was hesitant to do the install. But desided instead of using the 7/32 drill, I used a #18 drill bit(.169) as a piolet drill, this will allow the drill to follow the angle of the screw boss. Then followed through with a #9 drill bit(.196)equal to major diameter of the 5-30mm screw. Which by the way is the correct length. Length of install would have been less than 1 hour but....because I dropped a screw down behind the rear glove box and required the help from my wife (to which she helps with most of my installs) it turned out to be a 2 hour duration. As an after thought cover all cavities with a cloth to prevent hardware retrievement. As for the intensity of the light it equils all the other lights on the bike. Therefor would recomend the product for a good looking goldwing upgrade.

I bought this item in march, put it on, and have been riding with it all summer, this drink holder works GREAT, my wife loves it, (she is in control of somthing, haha). Seriously, this thing is very simple, and very easy to put on or take off,and move from side to side. I might buy another, that way I'll have dual drink holders. |
Its been a couple of years now with this product we are still getting around 20K out of each set (B/S), in tropical heat, harsh & mostly straight roads, very good in these conditions.
I just received these accent swoops today and installed them. First I have to say that this is by far one of the best pieces that I have added to my 2012 Wing. I have been waiting for the 2012 Kury merchandise and this piece was well worth the wait. I installed the rear wiring harness 3 months ago, so it was in place and ready to go. Instructions were accurate and the entire install was easy and took about 1 1/2 hours. I wasn't too thrilled with having to drill holes in my saddle bags but you drill into existing screw holes so it wasn't bad at all. Just had to keep the drill straight and gradually increase drill bit size from 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch. I guess the biggest challenge with the install was after removing the saddle bag doors, I found it somewhat difficult to reinstall them, getting the hinge holes to line up while holding the door and securing it with the screws. The LEDs are bright and I love the fact that they are run lights and turn signal lights. Initially I thought they were a bit pricey but they are worth the cost. Great craftsmanship and excellent fit. Can't wait to receive the rest of the 2012 accessories. Great job Kuryakyn, love it!

Bought the Kury ISO grips a little over a year ago... about 13K miles. After just a few months, the chrome started to pit. Finally, while on a trip to North Carolina a few months ago, I had to remove the grips because the chrome was peeling off to the point that I thought the chrome was going to cut my hands. Looking for a different grip option now. |
Purchased a set of these mirrors about a year ago. I have a set of mirrors similar to these on my Chevy truck. They are very useful on the truck, however proved to be of little or no added value on the wing. The stock mirror shows objects that are close much better than the fisheye lens on this mirror.
just added these on 3 days ago. looks sharp and very shiny. only problem now is, i have to buy more chrome for other parts of my trike. but cant wait
