I recently stated that the balancers were noisy. Got a email from the inventor (I think) and he suggested that I take a look at my axle to ensure the marking on the left side was lined up correctly. It appeared to be, but I loosened it up as well as the pinch bolts, then re-torqued them. The noise is gone. Many thanks Geoff!!!
I just ordered a new set after the 1st set on my '09 went 20,000 miles, about 2/3rd miles were 2 up fully loaded. They seem to track good, run smooth, and good enough traction to drag the foot pegs without slipping one bit. After checking at 3 dealers it seems like these tires are well liked.
I like these, the mesh is good actually. A little pricey
I would like to thank Wingstuff Staff particularly ( Chris ) for the exceptional customer service I recently received. I noticed a blemish or blister in a visible area of my floorboard side cover. I called Wingstuff and described what I felt was a defect in the product. I was provided with a replacement set of Floorboard Side Covers at no expense to me. I am greatly pleased with all aspects of Wingstuff's customer service. All of my chrome, accessories, tires and parts will come from Wingstuff for my GL1800.Their customer service is second to none. Thank You ! Al Dunn/USMC Retired.
At 7,500 miles the tire was cupping out bad "front" when we defated it to change we could see a split around the whole sidewall. Very poor quality will not buy a Metzler again.
A fifth grader could put these in. Always nice to have more lights!!
I have had my balancers on now for a week. The one thing I noticed right away was the sounds of the ball bearings slopping around at slow speed. A distraction at first, but I am getting use to it. I just recently replaced my original tires. I had Dynabeads installed right away in 08' and got 17,000 on my original rear tire and 18,000 on my original front. Hopefully these balancers will work just as good as dynabeads.

I have had the winshield for one season and I am not happy with it riding up from a predetermined position. I have done evrything possible to keep it in one position. My other issue the beanbag for the vent used to fall out once in awhile, to the point I lost it completely on the I5 in California. I hope there is a replacement for it. Other than that it does what it is advetised as. Cheers. Ike the Triker. |
