I was a little skeptical to order these pegs as I didn't know if my legs would be able to get around the fairing and place my feet on the pegs comfortably. After installing (about an hour of work), they are a great and very comfortable. This is the first option I have added to my wing. Thanks Wingstuff for a great buy!!!
This rack really looks great on the trunk and is extremely functional with the big rack bag. As mentioned prior, it's a little pricey for chromed pot metal.
After triple measuring the mark at which to cut into the seat, the install went easy and the backrest feels so great with the also newly installed Kuryakyn lighted cruise boards. I'm ready for the long haul now!
This manual will pay for itself the first time you need to use it. This is a MUST HAVE for any Goldwing owner.
Installed the lighted cruise boards this past weekend and adjusted them as best as possible. I'm 5'8" and they feel great! We're heading down to Wind Ding 35 this year and had to have some sort of highway pegs. I really used the ones on my 1100 all the time so adding a platform type to a more comfortable bike seemed like a no brainer. Easy to install and used a small chrome wire loom to cover the wires from arm to bike.
Considering the J&M stuff, this is not a good product but you are stuck with it if you buy their helmet sets. I thought I was buying the best but after 4 cords, I think they are junk.
These were great for about the first 6 months till the seal popped on the right shock now I can't find replacement seals for them here in Australia so I can get them rebuilt....
Sorry the previous input should have been 1 star
After the manufacture flaw, the chunk that came out I replaced with another Avon unfortunately on our way to Wing Ding about 400 miles into the trip the rear tire literally shredded. My first thought was I had run over a nial or something, but after getting to a repair shop the technician pointed out the samething Dan from Grove City Oh saw, bubbles in the material. I put a metzler 880 on the back and have been happy ever since. I have had three sets of Avon Tyres, but never again for me. We were two up towing a trailer and like others I am religious about checking my tire pressure. Avon if you read these reviews, you have some work to do to bring loyal customers like me back. Our lives depend on quality manufacturing!

Just installed these on my 2010. When you remove the stock bearings, you will see why you have a 40 mph wobble. Very small and cheap. These are much heavier/bigger and stronger. Recommended. |
Just did my 2010. It was nice and easy to just order one part and have everything needed except fork oil to do the rebuild.
Very nice look on the back.
