Bought this in 2010 and it is still on my bike. However, the set screw comes loose often. You'll know it is loose when you raise and lower the stand and can hear the pad loose. I have tried using Loctite on the set screw, however Loctite eventually wears as time goes by. It would be great if the manufacturer had a better way to lock this down onto the stand so that I don't have to keep tightening the set screw. This pad also has some interference when it is in the up position. Interference you will notice when using the OEM foot pad and wearing boots. Other than the set screw problem, this is a good cheap option to have on the kickstand to widen the stand surface when using on multiple surfaces. I've had no problems with this on sand, gravel, or loose pavement. However, on some soft surfaces, for added security, I have placed a piece of wood (shingle) or metal plate under to prevent sinking. |
| I had held off on this modification being concerned about the extra cable lengths necessary to add these. Brother had put these on a 2012- no problem very simple install no issue with cable lengths. With that we installed the tall rider version (no change in the span of the bars) on my 2008. Again very simple to do. You will have to remove the 4 bolts that hold the GPS unit in place but it doesn't have to be unpluged- you can just lift it our of the way for the install. The change is not an issue for any of the cables just have to work with it a little to get the extra inch needed to align the plate bolt holes. I have long arms so the standard reach wasn't a problem for me but this is still a major improvement on longer trips.. Nothing negative about this change and very easy to do. risers are marked for left and right so it's pretty much a no brainer install if you can do anything mechanical yourself. |
| The light's look great but the installation pictures are terrible. In order to make the install flawless, consider an installation video. It doesn't cost very much or just charge an extra 1 or 2 dollars. This would make the installation easy as falling off a log. |

| This plug has a good weather seal on the 5 pin Din side. There is No Mic wires in this plug it is for two channel audio - Left and Right speakers! It works great for what it was intended |
| Installed this with a buddy of mine. I already had the wire connection from my turn signals as a result of some of my previous upgrades. The biggest concern was to get the placement right. It kind of sits in a groove, sort of, but we wound up placing it where the top of the trim meets the top of the fairing. Looks good and the amber lights are close enough to my clear lens with amber bulb turn signals. So far, so good. |
| I just bought a 2nd set of these boards, for a new 2012 wing. My rider is 5'0" and loves the transformer function. She never gets on unless the extensions are up. |
| A nice safety addition that looks great. A bit of a challenge to install due to a lack of information on the adapter cables required. Along with the LED signals a 7300 adapter kit is required along with two 607312P adapter cables. The right side mirror connector was inside the fairing making access difficult but the left side was easily exposed once the mirror rubber was pushed out of the way. |
| This is perfect for keeping dust and my cats from getting on the bike. I keep the bike covered, even in the garage, so it stays clean and ready for any ride. Light weight, and perfect fit. Packs easily into the carrying bag, and fits in the saddle bag nicely. |
| After watching the video on Wingstuff about the Baker Built Hand Wings, I decided to give them a try. I figured anything that could help cut down on the wind on those cold days would be worth a try. Took just minutes to install, and I love them. My wife says she has also noticed a big difference. I like how I can eleminate the wind blocking effect on the warmer days if I want. I will be purchasing the other two products for the mid and lower portions of the bike. This is well worth the money. |
| This bead seat cover definitely reduces hot spots and improves circulation and comfort for riders like me. It is a good product because it does what it's supposed to do. However, I had to get two pairs of pliers and bend all four hooks open so they would actually FIT under my seat lip, then I had to move the front seat hooks up and in and under the bead seat cover so the hooks would properly reach the front/side lip of my motorcycle seat. I was surprised that a product clearly MADE for a motorcycle seat and sold at WING Stuff would still need to be hand fitted. Oh, well. At least my butt is cooler. |
| My wife found that with the stock boards her legs would hurt after several hours of riding. Legs were not quite long enough to rest all of her weight on the boards. We toyed with the idea of adjustable foot rests but opted for this concept since it allows her to have several options of where to place her feet, just like the driver gets with highway pegs. Great product, high quality and built well. |
