We installed this when the bike was new, and just reordered a new one. With 17,000 miles & 1.5 years on the bike, our cowl looks like it was found in a junkyard! The chrome basically peeled off on the bottom, and bubbled out on the rest. It's a shame it isn't a more durable finish, and believe me, our bike is IMMACULATE, and EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED!! It's only been in the rain a few times during a long trip, otherwise its NEVER ridden in rain. It does look so much better than the stock cowl, so we broke down and ordered a new one...Then again NOTHING lasts forever, right??? I highly recommend, but only 4 stars for longevity.
Some say using these for a trike is a waste, not so in my case. Taken all wobble out of front wheel and reduced road vibrations a lot. Extended the life of the front wheel as well. Have 6,000 miles on my GW1800 Champion Trike since installation by me of fork brace and tire shows limited wear compared to when none was on machine.Easy install, worht it for me.
Purchased the OEM CB radio this antenna, easy install and when I checked it with an SWR meter it was nuts on! Just what was expected and met my expectation perfectly
Easy install looks great! No problems what so ever to install, like others the Amber doesn't match the bike but who gives a $&!t they light up the side for safety! Get ya some!

I used Fred's videos to change the air filter and the rear shock on my 2001 GL1800. They were immensely helpful with detailed instructions all along the way. I am looking forward to using the videos to show me how to maintain my Gold Wing for many more miles. |
Great Price, great quality, great fit!! One of the 1st things I bought for my new bike. great job Wingstuff!!
First let me say that I really like Big Bike Show Chrome accessories however when I installed these today I had to remove the VERY HARD foam that is attached to these lens housings. The rock hard foam does not allow these to be installed easily and can cause you to break the plastic mounts inside of the mirror housings. I did not take any chances and removed the hard foam and then cut the soft foam off the factory lenses and glued to these lenses for a trouble free installation. When I originally tried to mount them with the foam that comes with these lenses the foam is so hard that they do not allow the factory screws to be installed. It may be possible to use the hard foam they come with but I think the screw mount holes would either strip or the mounts would break considering they are plastic. Big thumbs down to Big Bike Parts for using a hard rock foam on these! You may want to consider something else.
I really couldn't tell from the picture on the website how big the patch would be before ordering. I was very pleased once I received it, not to mention my wife was as we'll. I ordered a set for both of us. I love the way it looks, very we'll made..
I ordered this patch not knowing how it would look on my vest. I was truly impressed with the quality, not to mention everyone asking me where I got it from. I love the patch!!
These are great, easy install, and much more comfortable than pegs. I called Kuryakyn 'cause I couldn't find the shift lever bushing in the packaging. As I was talking to him on the phone I was digging around in the box and found this part packaged with the brake pedal. most of these parts are made in China and I think the instructions are written there too. Once I located all the parts, install was easy and I love the extra foot room. the larger brake pedal is pretty nice too and looks great. The deployment hooks are to hook your boot on to push the footboards back down, since the kickstand extender turned out to be a useless piece of junk.
without a doubt this is the sorriest piece of junk I have ever purchased. I own a lot of Kuryakyn products and have a wish list for many more. All have been great and I am happy with all except this thing. The directions say: don't tighten this too tight or it will bend and crack the chrome. Yup! That is true. The alternative is to not tighten it so it flops around drags the ground, scrapes the road etc. I tried to mount it to my stock kickstand on my 2013 Goldwing. It is now laying in a corner of the garage where I threw it. Absolutely useless!!
After 8yrs my fog lamp switch began to act up it would not switch on and off so I had to reorder this one very easy install one screw under trim and unit pop's right out plug and play.
