Installed these last week and went for a 400 mile ride. Here is what I think: installation was really easy and I think it is great that Baker included the proper drill bit. If you watch the the three part installation video on U tube you won't even need the directions. Installation took about 45 minutes.

Potential Draw Back. If you have highway pegs. The wings may interfere with you reaching them. I tend to ride with mine pretty low (that's what is comfortable to me) so it was alright. Most people however don't like pegs set as low as I have them, because they occasionally drag in tight turns. Take a look at the video on here and you will get an idea of whether they will interfere with your pegs

I purchased the chrome hardware and while they look great. I kept getting flashes, sun light reflection off the hardware, if I had it to do over again I would probably go with the black.

Now for the good stuff.... They definitely work as advertised. They actually work better for the passenger but you can definitely feel the difference as the driver, they are even more effective when you open them up to blow air on you. I think the biggest advantage is going to be in the rain at highway speeds. I think they will definitely push the rain around you.

Well that's all I got, be safe, keep it between the ditches.

Took the seat off and started wiring. I thought the directions were pretty good. One wire ( blue?) is said to splice into but upon completion I had a issue. I rechecked and noticed the seat heater blew a fuse so I did the "other" blue wire and all worked great. It gives me peace of mind there is more light in the back of the bike as I am wondering if the person behind me on their cell phone is paying attention! I like this product, highly recommend.

Progressive Monotube Fork Cartridge Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: TR779004,   SKU: TR779004

Installed on 2005 goldwing with 31k miles. Also installed all-balls kit, fork rebuild kit, kury fork brace and avon cobras.Went with 70 series rear tire and will not go back!I have the rear spring, but after about 3500 miles and reading how the rear is too stiff riding single,I have not installed it yet. These parts have transformed my bike into a canyon carving animal with two-up riding remarkably improved...I fell for the instructions and installed one shim, way too stiff, pulled it back apart and removed the shim(the right side you can do in the triple tree, but the left one has to come back out.)I weigh 185 and am 5'9" 32"inseam...I raised the tubes about 3/4 of an inch and it works great for my leg length...It still felt a little too stiff on small bumps, but after a couple of thousand miles has settled down nicely!! Some tips you may find helpful:I ran some bungee cords up to my opened garage door to hold the handlebars out of the way! HUGE DIFFERENCE and they wont scratch anything...I was able to get the bearing races out for the all-balls conversion easily.Hindsight, order the special spanner socket for the top castle nut and use a torque wrench or your going back in because it will be too loose! If you get it too tight the bike will want to stay layed over in the turns.Make sure it has enough drag with it in the air so that it stays where you put it when moved.I played with this setting the most after install and tuned it nicely...the biggest problem I had was getting the bottom fork capscrews loose,Had to use heat on both sides, the left was really tight.I had to go find a hardened allen with 3/8 socket drive and used an impact to loosen it.The left side wants to spin on reinstall so the impact was invaluable there as well.I live on a winding mountain road and at first could no way stay even remotely close to the speed limit!! Elevated sweeping overpasses with raised expansion joints are not an issue anymore as with passing trucks..I run the tires pretty tight 43-44psi in front and 55-62 in that big rear.I have NO sign of cupping front or rear!! If your on the fence about this kit,Just do it as nothing done here is irreversible.Once installed you will wonder why Honda did not do it this way!

Like the previous two posters. You have to modify the holes in order for everything to line up. There is a 1/4" gap between the factory chrome covers and the exhaust tips. Looking at returning these as I don't think you should have to do that for $200+ exhaust tips.

Passenger Armrest Kit
ITEM CODE: HO08R32MCA100,   SKU: HO08R32MCA100

03.09.2014
After researching and reading other reviews on this product I thought I would give it a try on my 2002 GL1800. I would have sent the product back but discarded the original packaging when it arrived and this is a condition of returning orders.
I am a pretty handy guy but was not impressed with the installation. The armrest is almost 1" wider, on the inside, than the original so it does not line up with the original holes. Actually 2 screw locations on the new product could not even be used as they hung completely off the original base support. As mentioned in other reviews, the template supplied for the main bracket is incorrect but I did not find this to be a major issue. It is highly unlikely that you will get the new product to fit as perfectly as in the photo.
The biggest concern for me was having to scrunch up the back seat support in order to get it to fit back into place because it now has to fit in an area that is almost 2" narrower. The back seat feels smaller now.
I do not know if this fit is because of the year of my bike but the info indicated that it fits all GL1800 Goldwings. A final note, be aware that it is almost impossible to reinstall the old cover (armrest) once it has been removed from the plastic base because they used a form of rivets. I suppose you could try gluing it in place.
After all is said and done the armrest only extends forward another 1"or so and is not all that more comfortable.
Good Luck with this product.

Exhaust Muffler Set w/Chrome Billet Tips for GL1800
ITEM CODE: TR080265,   SKU: TR080265

I had these installed at the dealership on my 2008 Wing prior to taking delivery of the new bike when I purchased the bike in 2009. The sound is much better than stock. The only issue I've had is the end cap chrome peeling.

I contacted Cobra about the issue, and they quickly sent me replacements. I too have had comments from several individuls, including Harley riders about how much better the sound is than the stock Wing pipes.

Motorcycle Tire Ceramic Balancing Beads
ITEM CODE: PG27738

It's been awhile since I wrote anything on Dyna Beads. This is simply the best and most cost effective solution on the market. I've installed these on hundreds' of tires last year and offer to remove them free of charge if your dissatisfied. I've yet to have a single person come back and have been told time and time again they can't believe how my ride has changed. I think the best comment that I've heard is "I feel NOTHING". Guess that means he's one happy customer.

11" Sport Shield for F6B
ITEM CODE: BSF6BLF,   SKU: BSF6BLF

03.06.2014
This shield is a really nice product. It fits the F6B mounting points perfectly, easy to install. The tinting looks great, without being too dark to see through. The height and width give great protection.I'm 6-1 and can look over the shield easily,as I don't like looking through a shield or have the top edge right at my eye level. The mounting points are slotted giving enough up,down adjustment,to place the height just right for the primary rider.Great price, looks great, well made, fits perfect, easy install,no problems with this one.

Ergo II Highway Peg w/Mini Arms
ITEM CODE: KU4073,   SKU: KU4073

03.06.2014
I'm 6'1" and have a 34" inseam, the short arms are great allowing me to move around as the miles pile up, the quality is second to none, and the clamps are robust, I however don't have any problem dragging them in the corners, its the first thing that touches down, but I expected that, expensive ground feelers ? I still rate these at 5 stars for comfort and quality. NUF SAID
