I would have put the originals back in, but I put my thumb through one of them when switching them out. The 20 year old OEM sound better than these.
I purchased the Puerto Rican Flag alone with the American Flag. They really look great on the trike.
My wife really loves these. A very great and outstanding look.
Very beautiful flag. It really add a great touch to the bike.
Great product. Easy install . Be careful handling your mirror and you'll be fine.
Junk!!!
Got home a little early today and took a short 50 mile ride. I took the stick on weights off. I had 1/4 oz on the front and 1/2 oz on the back. The beads seem to work well. The ride consisted of several miles of twisties as well as a stretch of interstate at 80 mph. No noticeable vibration. Now I cannot say how well they really work as my tires were in balance from the start. I can say that with the stick on weights removed and the beads installed the ride was still smooth and the bike did stick in the curves great.
I'm staying with the G709. Even at 18,000 miles it is still " road worthy " and wear is pretty even compared to the others I have had. I can feel the front end wobble a bit more so that's my cue to start over again.
These deflectors work very well. My hands are a lot warmer in the cold weather and the buffeting has decreased. I like the ratchet system because there really is no chance they will move no matter how fast you go. I want to purchase the lower fairing deflectors to complete the set.
Make sure you center it properly. The double sided tape is like gorilla glue.
I just installed these on a new Bridgestone rear tire and also on a Bridgestone front with 5k on it. I did the install by removing the valve cores and installing a piece of longer tubing than comes with the kit over the stems. I then poured about 1/3 of the tubing full of the beads and applied air with a compressor set at about 20 psi.I had to work with them a little but they did install relativity easy. I actually saw this on a u Tube video. I have not really rode any miles yet but am expecting good results.

I bought this windshield to replace my stock windshield on my 2012 because at 6'2", I was getting too much buffeting when on the highway with it set at its tallest position. The extra tall windshield was the ticket. I transferred my vent with no problem. I should have made this exchange a year ago. I can just barely see over the top of the shield if I straighten my back and crane my neck slightly. This will be good when it rains or when my shield fogs up. |
