I now have 12 K on the front tire, I think it'll make 15K witch isn't bad.
I have nothing to say on the rear tire because I run a Michelin Alpin w has 24K on it & it should make 30K..

Comfort Grip Covers
ITEM CODE: TR179222,   SKU: TR179222

I've had these close to two years now. My hands would start to cramp up after an hour or so of riding. I saw these listed and figured for $12.00 what's to lose. These are very easy to install, they make an immediate difference in your hand comfort. After all day of riding no more hand pain. After 22 months they are showing no sign of wear. For the price you could easily change them every season if you needed to.

Progressive Monotube Fork Cartridge Kit for GL1800
ITEM CODE: TR779004,   SKU: TR779004

Its been just over a year and now I have 8,084 miles on these. I put these in a 2010 GL1800 Base model. Everything is still the same as my last update. No front end sagging, no front tire cupping, no seals leaking, and no complaints. I have one shim installed and used Honda S8 oil, 10w. This is definitely a excellent upgrade for the budget minded rider. It probably will not match up to the $1000+ other upgrade, but I think comes close to it. I highly recommend these Progressive mono tubes if you are replacing springs and seals when they are worn out. 5 stars for this product.

Good looking, easy install. The bottom screws on and the top attaches with two sided tape. The instructions tell you to hold the top out as you screw in the bottom so that it won't stick. This isn't possible as the tape is at the very end of the piece and you have to slide the end of the piece under the upper body parts. Just don't press on the piece, line up the screw holes and get the screws started, once the screws are secured you can move the top if need be, then press and hold it into place.

Louvered Chrome Transmission Side Cover for GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU7366,   SKU: KU7366

Great looking, very easy install, but once you do this the boomerang and battery box covers can't be far behind leading to passenger floorboard side covers, chrome foot pegs, mounting plates and chrome floorboard covers. Adds up fast but looks really good.

Chrome Passenger Floorboard Side Covers

I chromed the whole side, battery box, transmission cover, boomerang cover
etc. So these are necessary to complete the look. Nice piece, good looking, 20-30 minutes should do both sides.

Chrome Dually Driver Replacement Footpegs
ITEM CODE: KU7938,   SKU: KU7938

As I chromed the whole side of the bike these needed to be done also. It was an easy install, did the mounting brackets also. They are good looking and appear well made, I have a couple of hundred mile on them with no problems as yet. It might just be me but I haven't noticed any problems with leg position or with distance to brake pedal or shifter.

Ergo III Chrome Adjustable Arm Cruise Mount w/ Dually Pegs
ITEM CODE: KU4081,   SKU: KU4081

These are fairly easy to bolt on. They look very nice on the bike. There is a lot of adjustibility, which is both good and bad. Good because you should be able to get them right where you want them. Bad because it can take a lot of time figuring out where exactly that is. I'm still trying to get them dialed in. They appear to be well made and the chrome seems good. I gave them 4 stars because they are about one hundred dollars more than they should be.
These pegs will drop a couple of inches when you put your feet on them allowing you to stretch out, and they raise back up automatically when you remove your feet, giving you good ground clearance in corners. If you decide you don't care for this option, instructions and parts are provided to make them rigid.

Easy install. Have a couple hundred miles on them and they make a noticeble
difference, for the better, of the wind on your hands. Can't say about the passenger, didn't have one.
