| I got them two years ago, three weeks ago on the shining session, I found on of them with oxidation spots, the chrome looks like not thick enough. Maybe I got a lemon on one side. But the passenger realy like them. |
| if you want something to keep any rain off use a garbage bag they are lighter and will keep moister off this does not even the lightest shower it goes through. looks great but that is all. Gave it three stars because it fits and looks good. |
| This is the second Bushtec hitch I have owned. Sold the first one with the bike. This is a rock solid hitch in that it attaches to the frame under the seat and by the foot boards instead of others that only attach at the foot boards. It is a tight fit and may take some finagling but the peace of mind is well worth it when you are towing. Just make sure the hitch is tightened down prior to towing. A loose hitch can cause the trailer to swerve behind the bike, causing excessive and dangerous tire wear on the trailer. Install was about an hour and a half. |
| after 15,000 miles the plastic bracket breaks and you may lose the holder and the cup as I did. If you still want this make an aluminum bracket. |
| A friend suggested I put a nickel between each of the spring coils to reduce the effort needed to get the spring back on the kickstand. Not sure if I needed it or not but only took about 20-30 minutes to put about 15 nickels in and change out the kickstand thanks to another reviewer mentioning rotating the kickstand slightly when putting the pin back into the pre drilled hole on the kickstand. I also took the back nut off first, then the small nut on the front, last was the front large nut that is also threaded. Looks great now and I hope it stays nice looking as written by some of the other reviewers. |
| Purchased 2 years ago has survived 26000 miles and still strong just starting to show a little fade but not a thread of fraying I have gone thru 3showchrome US flages in the same time frame need there US flag |
| while I was cleaning the bike phone that the front fender and right hand caliper cover were both broken right now after receiving a replacement parts we move the old Fender after having it off till the way to increase on the fender I will not be putting this back on as I also have lost the rubber extensionI went to a local RV dealer and got hold of a rubber strip that's used on a slide out fashioned it and installed on my fender so I only have an all rubber extension with no metal to weigh it down jerry Kuryakyn you missed it on this one |

I paid too much for this and the trunk molding. They looked good for a month or so. Then about every few rides, another LED light goes out. Don't waste your money on this junk. |
| just wrapped up a 1100 mile trip to Mackinaw city Mi much more comfortable than the originals of this is my first long range trip and they were great highly recommend this to any Goldwing rider you won't go wrong with them |
| Installed new tires and Centramatic Balancers on my 2012 Level 3 GL1800. Took a ride to Iowa and back hauling my Classic camper and pillion partner. 4k later no signs of cupping, extreme noticeable difference in smoothness of ride. Very happy and hope the mileage on the tires gets better with only 11,200 on the first set. These should help! |
