For the price, it adds a real nice pop to the back end.

Bought and had installed at dealer while on a road trip. My friend did also at the same time. Very nice addition and very visible. (wich is what its all about)Lights and safety chrome!!!!!!!
After I purchased and installed the Belly Pan I noticed my cooling fan came on in slow traffic. I decided to drill some holes in the front and that helped. Also, the pan is well constructed and is very solid. The people who think it is made of cheap material I suggest you try to drill a hole through it and you will change your mind.
I have just purchased it and am really happy with it. The price is great on what you get.
Put these on the bike a couple of days ago and noted an immediate improvement in riding position, ie arms more relaxed and not having to lean forward. Took approximately 2 hours to install. Hardest part was getting enough slack in the wiring and throttle cable, otherwise not a particularly hard install. Went for a 40 minute ride today and did not notice any tightening in the muscles of the upper back that I used to experience. Great produck.
I just received & installed both the saddlebag & trunk sets. Installation was great & fit was good. I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the other reviews that complained about fit & quality. I experienced no problems at all. I did take one of the reviewers advice & tapped the mounting holes prior to installation. Good recommendation.

Would not just slip on, it was tough to get it within a 1/4" of all the way. I would have had to do a lot of grinding on the kickstand to make it fit. Pounded it on as far as it would go and couldn't get it back off, figured it was good where it was. Put lock tight on the set screw and put some black sealant in the small area that was still exposed from not being on all the way and you can't tell the difference. I think if it were on all the way it would hit the exhaust cover but fine the way it is, just clears. I don't think it will ever come off.

I bought this without looking at the reviews. After an hour and a half,it STILL doesn't fit. Tried the jack idea...everything and still will not line up.Will wind up sending it back and having to pay a 10.00 postage or more on this large box for this thing. If these reviews have been here..and the manufacturer knows this..why do they still sell the damn thing! Just plain stupid. |
Wife loves the armrests, but the drink holder is way too big for the standard water bottle. Doesn't take much of a bump to lose your beverage, she's lost several. Good product as long as you keep a hand on your drink most of the time!
I had a similar experience to Tim, below...I've tightened the "make sure you don't over tighten" 3x, if it loosens up again, I'll throw it in the trash. Nothing less awesome than taking a mellow corner and hearing grinding as the kickstand hits the ground. Kuryakyn, please redesign this before someone gets hurt.
