Ergo II Cruise Pegs Gloss Black fit F6B, GL1800
ITEM CODE: KU3995,   SKU: KU3995

Easy install, still a bit uncomfortable as my legs tend to rub on fairing, will look at some six extension arms. The real problem is the finish looks terrible after one road trip.. the black paint finish didn't withstand highway typical debris, looks like it is 10 years old not a couple of months.

Red LED w/Clear Lense Chrome Trunk Handle
ITEM CODE: KU3215,   SKU: KU3215

Great product. Solid handle and very bright brake light. As with everyone else, I was a little hesitant to drill through the trunk the way they described, but all went well. Use masking tape to hold the handle in place while re-installing the trunk lid. Wiring hook up was very easy. The whole process took about an 1 1/2 hour. Very satisfied

After taking a direct hit from a piece of scrap drywall to the front of my Wing last week unfortunately the right-side leg-wing did not survive, nor did I expect it too survive the hit; but after riding in rain a couple days later my right shoe got wet but the left shoe did not. when I purchased these I questioned if they work but after this experience I found out they do make a difference when riding in rain.

After taking a direct hit from a piece of scrap drywall to the front of my Wing last week the right-side hand-wings were also hit. They did NOT break! A good investment.

PS-as for the loosing issue, I also experienced this with the right-side hand-wing, a drop of Loctite solved the problem. not a big issue. They do provide a lot of air to rider and passenger in hot weather.

After taking a direct hit from a piece of scrap drywall to the front of my Wing last week the air-wings were also hit. They did NOT break! They were hit so hard the bracket was bent back a little but no damage to the air-wings. A good investment as I feel air-wings are a must-have item and they held up to impact.

I installed the chrome levers in 2010, they worked OK most of the time till 2011. Then I couldn't get them to engage the cruise. I first put the OEM Levers back on and the cruise worked fine. The fix I tried works. I pressed out the brass bushing and used the OEM piece that engages the cruise buttons with the chrome levers, just press the two parts back together. It's been 3 years now and still working great. I do like the looks and feel of these levers.

Great addition, provides lots of extra storage space without having to tow a trailer. Was easy to install, very sturdy. Bag is sturdy and has an easy attachment system. Used it recently on a 6000 mile trip was great to have. Once home, remove the receiver, replace the reflector and the bike looks stock.

Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: PRRBBB,   SKU: PRRBBB

07.19.2014
So I'm a new 2014 GL1800 owner (but old rider) and I'm just surfing through WingStuff looking for things to spend money on when I come upon "Baby Buggy Bumpers". Remember, I'm new to the 'wing, so I've gotta read about this. I'm not surprised when I read that they help prevent trunk lid abrasion, because when I took my bike on an "inaugural" 4,000 mile jaunt down south, I noticed this abrasion every time I unloaded the trunk for the night. To eliminate the problem, I went to Home Depot, bought some Velcro dots and just applied them (felt side only) to the chaffing points inside the lip of the trunk lid - there are 14 little dots that get rubbed into the lid, so locating the right spots is not difficult. Clean the lid with alcohol first. No fuss, no muss, 10 minute job, problem solved. And, absolutely no problem opening or closing the lid, although it doesn't pop up when the remote is triggered ... this should be my biggest problem in life. Extra benefit - I've you don't like what the Velcro does, take it off and the drill your holes for the bumpers.

Anyway, even though I didn't buy these little bumpers, I did read about the problems with them. For those of you who don't like to overthink things (like me), here's my brief take. Why anyone would want to line up a template, drill 4 holes into a $1,000 trunk lid, struggle to pull the little buggers through said holes and THEN have to shave off some material just to make it all work is beyond me. These bumpers seem like over engineering to solve a simple problem at it's finest.

But hey, that's just me and I hope they do work well for you.
