The light install was fast and easy...finding the wire harness connection was not. Spent a frustrating hour, took everything off the left side of the bike and still couldn't find it...finally watched u tube and bingo...it was right in front of me the whole time. Lights look good and work well. The on off switch is a added plus.
Quick and easy install seeing I had my GL1800 tore down running electric wires and XM radio wires. :o) now I can charge my Cell Phone when needed and run my XM.
This is my second set of these and I love them. The first set I let go with my previous bike. I had them set too low (horizontal) and ground a significant portion off at the hinge during a ride on the twisties in Arkansas. They still looked good and functioned well despite being ground down. I bought another set for a newer bike I purchased, and I love the position, look, finish, etc. I am 5'10" and the standard length they come with fit fine with some knee bend. If I want to stretch out further I put my boots on top of the peg and can straighten out completely. Worth the $$.
I hesitantly ordered this because of the bad reviews about the chrome finish. I was pleasantly surprised as to how good it looks on the bike and how easy it was to install. I drill holes for a living, so thought I would try the manufacturer recommended diameter before going to a larger size as some have suggested. I put some blue painter's tape across the approximately area that it was to be installed, marked it, and then drilled the holes (1/4" I think is what they recommend). I nailed it first time and the fit was good. I coated it with a good coat of high quality wax before installing it and I think with enough care it will look good for years to come. If it corrodes, I will post a follow-up review.

I installed mine on both top and bottom trunk brake lights after replacing the bulbs with good quality bright 7440 leds. Additionally I have the spoiler LED wired to emit quick flashes for 4 seconds. Arizona revised MVD statute allows up to 5 seconds of continuous flashing for non emergency use. Found out this is a GREAT SAFETY ITEM when someone is tailgating you at almost 75 mph! Jackass backed off immediately then took closest exit! |
Purchased over 3 years ago, durable, looks good and works well to protect against scratches or scrapes.
Purchased over 3 years ago, has worked as a rock shield, keeps out road grime. Well worth the cost!
I have used different types before but I personally like this unit because it is lightweight. I hooked it up to my helmet and made a few adjustments and voila!!! works like a champ.. I have seriously tugged on the unit and it has yet to ever fail me. Don't be surprised by its strength even though it is plastic (polymer).
this brand is the best tires ever for my goldwing. I ride hard in the windy mountains and in the wet rainy road. these tires handles extremely well in these conditions. I went to two sets already it never failed me yet and each sets last for 17 K plus miles, 5 to 6 K more than Dunlap Elite brand. A basic motorcycle 101 chore every time I get on a motorbike out on to the open road is to check the tire pressure of both tires every single time. Its a good thing for safety and it keeps the tires last for its projected wear milage. Low tire pressure alway always cuffs the tires and damages it every time - guaranteed.
I absolutely love having the floorboards and toes/heel shifter but like everything else from Kury, the chrome peels after just 2 or 3 years. You would think that with what they are charging for the add-ons, that they would opt for a premium chroming process. I will have to strip down my bike and send to a chroming shop to have most everything re-done.

Show Chrome gets a 2 thumbs from me for this air vent. To install, the Dremmel works well. Be prepared to measure twice and cut once. Vent seems well constructed, and engineered. At first instructions that come with product are confusing, it says it fits 04 and up. It does fit the 01 (and nicely I may add). Otherwise installation instructions are clear and concise. And vent gives the rider some nice air flow on the chest area. In my opinion the smoked vent looks fine on clear shield. Kudos to Show Chrome! |
I put these on my new trike in November 2012 and they have worked great. I have 24,000 miles now and they are working just as well from day one. Heat or cold the levers are nice and soft.
