It may just be my imagination but it seems slightly quieter and blocking the wind from there may keep it calmer in cold weather.

Mini Arms for Ergo II Highway Footpegs
ITEM CODE: KU4071,   SKU: KU4071

01.23.2015
I switched to these from the 6" arms that came with the Ergo II and it made it much more comfortable for me. I'm 6' 1" with 36" inseam. It also moves the foot out just a little bit which helps the legs clear the side of the faring. I've got them aimed back to me just above horizontal. I should have picked this version first. Live and learn.

Trunk Light Jumper Wires
ITEM CODE: EC08012,   SKU: EC08012

Adds a couple more bright lights when you hit the brakes. Easy to install but the directions were for 2012 and newer. Worked just as well in my 2010. Just had to find the correct wires.

I finally had a chance to take this on an all day ride. Temperatures were in the low to mid 90's and the vents worked better than any other vented helmet I've ever had. I could actually feel the breeze, which felt pretty good on a hot, humid day. Pretty tight compared to other HJC helmets I've owned. Hope it loosens up over time. If you want one try to see them in person to find the right size for you.

I got the wide kit a couple months ago. I’m tall, 6’ 1” and last fall put on a custom seat that sits me back an inch or so. That eased up on the knees but then I was fully extending my arms. I installed them with as much adjustment up and back as possible. For a while during the winter all I had were short trips and they seemed to make my arms and shoulders more comfortable. Recently I took a long trip of 3400 miles with one 700+ mile day and must say they do make everything just right. I no longer feel like I’m reaching for the bars.

Added these and the chrome battery side cover this mornimg. They went on easily and look great. Totla time was less than 30 minutes on the whole project and sure shines up that area of the bike.

Battery Side Trim

The original gray piece has been always displeased me. This one went one easily and looks great. Added this and the chrome floorboard covers and didn't spend 30 minutes on the whole project. One of the pieces that you screw into cracked but I'm sure it will hold together.

Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800

I added these the same time as new tires. They sure seemed to smooth out the road. I've put 3 or 4 thousand miles on them and think they help. We will see how they do in extending the life of my tires. So far I'm very happy.

I really like this little piece of bling. It adds a nice touch to the back of the bike. Very simple to install. Highly recommended.

Performance Stainless Steel Belly Pan for GL1800
ITEM CODE: WS187416,   SKU: WS187416

01.23.2010
As others have said, the pan is easy to install. Took me longer to get the protective covering off and bandage my fingers than to install it. Also as others have said, wear gloves. The edges are sharp and if you pull on the louvers to get it over the last bolt you’ll look like me with bandages on two fingers.
