I find that Honda just does it right. However, no one is perfect. This is a weak part. You can replace them at tire changes or just go in and have them break the seal on the tire and replace them now. Use this honda part or the all metal one, but keep them new. Wake up to a flat or go down on a long sweeper at 65mph, your choice.
Had these installed with a new set of tires 10,000 miles ago. Wonderful Only question I have is I thinking of Triking my wing and getting a pull behind trailer as well I've been so happy with these on ,y wing I want them for my Trike and trailer. Van you get them?
I have three of these sets and they seem to work well. I've never owned any other types though. The comments about the poor/weak connector design which causes them to fail prematurely is true. After replacing two cords I installed them by forming a loop and securing it under the speaker cords. This puts the stress further down the cord on a straight part away from the L-connector and makes them last much longer. Shouldn't have to do that though.
East to install looks and works great. This should of been my first aftermarket item that I purchased. Absolute must have for the goldwing
Just put it on yesterday and drove to work this morning. When I got behind an SUV the windshield did start flapping on the upper edges of the shield. I believe because it is a square shape the upper corners have very little support. Also if you wear polarized sunglasses you will see different coloration in the windshield. Will try it for a while during Lake George bike week.
Great looking and a very simple install.
Love the added lights, makes the bike glow!
Gorgeous lights, not a bad install at all.
Nice touch to an area that is normally dark. It breaks things up a bit with the bling of chrome.
I purchased the OEM CB radio and wanted the factory antenna as well. No adjustments were required. The SWR was set and the system works great. Easy install.
Added these to my 2012. However, after changing my hand grips, I removed. I kept them on the bike for about a year. They stayed in good condition and added that touch of chrome that shined when the sun hit them.
This is a nice piece. It adds color and reflection in an area that normally is dull. Mine are just reflectors and was easy to install.
