I ran this oil In the Iron butt rally 11,000+ miles without a oil change, I sent a sample out to be analyzed after the rally it held up very well. I wont use anything else

Bought these, easy install. Wife loves the two positions but first trip lost a rubber strip. Now the chrome between the strips has started to peel. Great function, unexpected poor chrome quality from a "supposedly quality" manufacturer. |
I purchased this rack and the fit was VERY tight trying to slide the rack into the mounting point. After the first trip the rack functioned fine but I could not slide it back out. I only had a six pack cooler and a backpacking stove attached to it, about 12-15 pounds, well under the 35 pound limit. I now just remove the trailer ball every time to take it off, not difficult but not how it was supposed to work. Called Kuryakyn direct and was told they had no way to know I did not bend it. Nice.

These covers fit well but I broke the tabs off when I pressed them on. I put some double sided tape inside to keep them in place. Now they look good and I know they will stay where they belong. |
These beauties fit as well as the original black covers. They really improve the look and give you something to smile about.
Have both front and rear ME888, they do ride a bit loud and any speed over 100mph on a GL1800 feels really bad(front tire is all over the place) Had a better experience with the ME880. Even the "Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800" could help the ME888.
Hand Grips are nice, make for easy gripping on them long rides. I suggest you order the grip weights when u get them. There is more vibration without the weights. Bearable, but can become annoying when you are use to none at all. Get the hand grip weights.
I installed these 2 weekends ago. I strongly suggest you view all the youtube videos on Baker Built wings you can find. I messed up installing the right side by aligning with the wrong pocket line. But that was purely my mistake, too late at night installing. Overall it took me 2 hrs to install. I have used them to block and draw air and they do a decent job. I was surprised that there were no bumper dots to keep them from scraping against the plastic. I put on small felt dots. I have the mirror and trike wings that will go on when it gets colder out.
Actually easy to follow instructions. I have a 2015 RedBlack Goldwing and this really make a impact. Will ride and adjust as needed. If you have the Ergo II if you update you will not be sorry. Great product!
I have had these for about 2 years. and had to take them off the bike because the extra weight of the armrest keeps breaking the plastic rear speaker bottoms where they bolt to the trunk hinges. I am on my third set of speaker covers because when you open the trunk the weight of the arm reset hyper extends the hinges and the bolt holes for the hinges are very fragile and get pulled apart. Wish it wasn't so. Wife loved them.
Easy install, great look, Excellent design.
