Got about 13,000 miles out of them. They didn't feel as smooth as the other tires I've tried. Just gave a stiffer ride, didn't feel that they gripped the road as well. Just felt like a harder tire. I ride two up conservatively, check air pressure regularly. I'm going back to Metzlers they seem to suit me best. Got a set of Marathon 888's this time. Only got about 400 miles on them, but wow. My wife even commented on how much quieter and smoother the ride was.
After unsuccessfully ordering this windshield through another company $&* Cycles, they mislead me and thinking I will be getting this shield in approx. 7-10 days. There website says it will be shipped in 5-7 days after ordering online. This is totally untrue, so after being disappointed with the service and being mislead I called "Wingstuff". When I called Wingstuff and told them my problem, they got my info from previous ordering and said they would call me back to see if they could get me the windshield in the time frame I need for my trip. Wingstuff called me back within 5 mins and gave me great news that they can have the windshield drop ship to me within 3-5 days. This is 5-6 days before my trip and they still are having the company drop ship it to me in that time frame. I knew about these guys but this is above and beyond satisfying the customer. You'll have a customer for life for all my bike needs from this day forward. Great job Wingstuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered this windshield from Wingstuff, had it drop shipped to the artists residence who etched the twin eagles on it for me - one on each side of the air vent. I added a picture of it to my photo gallery. Came out very nice! Thanks wingstuff / Rodney for assisting me with this windshield project. You guys are the best! I haven't really had the shield on long enough to make a comment about its benefit, but reading the reviews is what sold me on this one. I clean my shield at every stop when on the road, I don't like looking through bug juice! Looks great on the bike and have gotten lots of compliments already. |
Put these on my 08 wing a year ago and they are way more comfy than the OEM's. Still look good as Rubber and chrome is like new yet!!!
This is easy to install and is great for storing all types of things.
I've done both sides and the fitment was good and after 1 year they still look great!
Can anybody tell me what model number of actual cigarret lighter plug that works with this 12v plug [email protected]
I have this on my bike, but I don't know where the wire ends up? Is it under the seat?, in a compartment? Behind a compartment? Mine is installed on my left handle. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
My cowl held up well. I think its time for a new shiny one as this one has been beat up pretty good. Thousands of tiny rock marks but still looks ok. No chrome chipping or peeling on mine. For a big ole piece of plastic, I would say it has done its job!
This switch is an easy replacement for the OEM switch. After removing the trim strip, remove one bolt (under the trim), squeeze the panel on the left, and lift it out. Two screws hold the switch in the panel. Also the switch is very easy to locate at night, since the switch has a built in light that is aways on.

This light is a must have. It looks just like the OEM reflector, but it lights up. The light is bright and it matches the light design with the other lights on a Goldwing. It doesn’t look like you have stuck a light on the bike like a lot of other add-on lights do. It looks like it came this way from the factory this way. You do have to drill a couple of holes for the wires, but that’s no big deal. Everyone that sees my Goldwing says they have to get one of these lights. You can’t go wrong purchase. |
I must admit that I bought this piece because I liked the way it looks, but after riding with it, I definitely notice the improvement. Steering is much more solid, especially at low speeds.
