These grommets do not fit a 2008 GL1800 Honda Goldwing. The grommets on my bike are 5/8" wide, these are nearly 1".

While I didn't buy my extender through Wingstuff I thought it important to let all who may be interested in this extender that they are prone to causing the rear half of the front fender and the two front side covers to break at the mounting points. Local Honda dealer said this is a problem with the longer extensions and it's not a Honda warranty item so you can plan on paying $250 to $300 for the new parts if/when they break. I liked the extension for keeping road junk off the front of the bike but not to the tune of $300 dollars. I have read that another extension called the "Fenda Extenda" works much better and doesn't cause this problem so I may give it a try.

The angle on the top of halo doesn't match up very well with fairing trim piece. The screws sent with it are almost not long enough. The back of the halo has to be spread out so you can attach it to something. The forks will hit the halo if not spread out,be carefully this is plastic and can break when you spread it open. The instructions are terrible and hard to follow. The pictures on instruction sheet aren't very good either.I got it installed and looks really nice the lights look really good at night I wired mine in with my ring of fire.I give it 4 stars because of terrible instructions and angle on top of halo could have been flat...

Makes a huge difference for the long rides. This thing is sturdy, not too difficult to install, and matches the OEM seat perfectly. The back rest absorbs shock when you hit a bump, and it keeps your back more upright so you have less stress and fatigue. Made a 3400 mile trip through the Rockies just after I installed it. I don't think I could have done that without this backrest. Highly recommended!

All Balls Steering Bearings for GL1800 & F6B
ITEM CODE: TR416233,   SKU: TR416233

I've put a good many improvements into the 2002 Goldwing I bought from the original owner last year: highway pegs, new speakers, FOBO tire pressure monitors, a back rest, and a few more.

But I came back form a 3400 mile trip with uneven tire wear on a relatively new set of Dunlop Elite 3s. So I looked around on the net to see what I could find out and became convinced it had to be the front stem bearing. Confirmed the problem when I tested for the dreaded front end wobble, which I had at about 35-40 miles per hour.

Bought the All Balls Bearings and had them installed last week. Completely transformed the steering and handling of the bike. It tracks much truer now, both at speed and in the corners. What an amazing difference. The install was of course many times more expensive than the bearings, but I certainly got my money's worth.

Combined the new stem bearing, btw, with DynaBeads in both front and rear tires and the ride and handling of the bike are transformed. If I'm not mistaken, about 500 miles or so later the tire wear has already started to even out.

I bought this cable 1 year ago to work with the sm10 and 20s. I have had 2 of these break at the connection that plugs into the Goldwing. I have used wired headsets for 6 years and I have never had any problems. I know of 2 other people who have also had these cables break. I called SENA and they're sending me a new cable but it will take 3 to 4 weeks. I think for a $750 bluetooth set that SENA should overnight this cable, but I get the feeling that they don't care.

I haven't had these more than a few rides, but they fit like a glove, and are really comfortable. I have been wearing engineer boots for the past ten years, and these are a remarkable improvement. easy to walk in too! Worth every penny! Thanks again Wing Stuff, you did it again!!

Universal Kickstand Extender
ITEM CODE: KU7109,   SKU: KU7109

I have had one for several years now. I had to wrap a strip of rubber from an inner tube around the stand to make it tight enough to work. Since then it has come loose twice. This last time, will be the last time. It's gone. It was made to fit different size stands but it will not close enough for a tight fit on my stand.

Centramatic Stainless Wheel Balancers for GL1800
ITEM CODE: CTMGW100-102,   SKU: CTMGW100-102

Excellent product. Saves money. Wheels don’t need balancing. If one removes the wheel themself, many car tire shops can break the bead and will remove and mount new tire for a much lower cost than a bike shop.

Tire cupping can be caused by a few things. Usually by bad suspension. One may wish to check the torque on the steering tree. Second Honda as always used ball bearings in stead of roller bearings. Changing those bearing make a big difference. Tires don’t cup nor is there a shimmy when slowing down. For the best stable rid I recommend spending the money for a Traxxion suspension system. It has saved my life more than once.

Recommend that new tires are installed with the Centramatics. All weights (stickies or crimped) be removed.

I’m a very aggressive rider and ride year around. I have 12 K on Dunlop Elite 3s. Thanks to Centramatics. Will be interesting to see how may miles I get out of these tire.

Like the Traxxion suspension system Centramatics is the best money I spent on my Wing which has over 100K miles on it. No plans to get a newer one.

Centramatics is an excellent investment!
