My original 2007 seat just wore out after 104,000 miles of riding. A 50 mile ride to work and my rear end was sore. So I spent like 2 months reachering what everyone out there thought was the best seat. There are lots of opinions out there so finally I rolled the dice. Our 1st ride to the Pacific Coast hwy was the test. Day one my wife and I rode 1042 miles. Last year we went to Key West. My mom passed away while we were in the keys and had to get back to MN. We rode 1427 miles on the second day to get home. Could not have done this on my old wing seat. Here the skinny, the seat is well made. I have the heated version and this blows away the OEM heated seat. I ride in very cold mornings here in MN and that matters. The driver back rest is awesome and removes so easy. Now it comes with rain covers and I drag them along and use them when I can. In my opinion, if you get caught in heavy rain and didn't find a place in time to put the covers on, not big deal. Your body covers most of the seat anyways. We have ridden through two torrential rainfalls and everything is ok. If I leave the bike parked out side with a good chance of rain. the covers are on. I think thats what they are really for. Now for my passenger review. My wife has metal hardware in her spine and she can get fussy if the back rest isn't to her liking. Well the OEM back rest is cupped in where the center of her back rests. The Ultimate back rest is not so I put the OEM rest back on for her. I believe the average passenger will like the Ultimate back rest and with the Goldwing stiching in it is so pretty. |

I have these on my 2012 GL1800 and with my 32" inseam I'm riding with my legs against the fairing. Short runs aren't bad but long rides make for some irritation. If these fit you then they are well made. Installation is easy but it might be helpful to have a friend to set the most comfortable position. |
| Purchased back in March of 2016. Took it on several trips where before we couldn't go because of luggage space constraints (wife's junk). Love the idea you can keep all your hotel stuff in this bag and just unlock and carry to the room. As before stated it does block the license plate but I prepared for that in the event I get pulled over by drilling 2 holes in the back rail to mount the license plate in a pinch. But honestly I have had multiple law enforcement behind me and never once been questioned. |

| Oem pads are the best. Have tried others but always come back to the OEM pads. |

I have had this windshield for 3 years now. It is the best - provides excellent protection from wind and rain. It is easy to clean and care for. Best windshield I have had on any bike - better than Tulsa which I had before getting the F4. |
| I have been running Bridgestone tires on my 1800's. However, I ran a Run Flat car tire for some time on the rear. Recently I changed to the Bridgestone 702. I like the way the bike sits and handles. It has improved the performance and handling of the Goldwing. The speedometer reads the correct speed now. Again, I have been pleased with my choice of Bridgestone Tires for my Goldwings! |
| I invested in F4 Customs Windshields on every Goldwing I have owned. The F4 Windshield Cleaner keeps them clean and it takes only a little cleaner to go a long way. The size and shape of the bottle is convenient for storage in the trunk and is easy to use. I order them two at a time and that usually lasts a riding season. Thank you F4! |
| If you're going to do maintance on your wing you have to have this well worth the money get Fred Harmons DVD set to complete it the manual makes more sense after you see the videos. |
