| This is a very good product. The daytime running lights are very bright and help improve the visibility of the bike. The unit operates flawlessly as described, and the installation was not difficult. My only complaint is that the amber LED turn signals are not bright enough during the day, especially in bright sunlight. Yesterday, August 26, 2017, I installed SocalMotoGear's newest product of this type - Pathfinder Dynamic-Sequential LED Front Indicators with DTR Lights (Item #AOG18DTC). They are OUTSTANDING and dramatically improve the visibility of the amber turn signals. I strongly recommend that you consider the newer version of the product before making a decision on purchasing this one. |
| I purchased this light set as a replacement to SoCalMotoGear's previous replacement daytime running lights with integrated LED turn signals. My only complaint about the earlier version was that the Amber LED turn signals weren't very visible. This version is not only visible, but they are extremely attractive either off or on. The installation wasn't very difficult (don't forget to watch the installation video FIRST), and everything worked properly right out of the box. I highly recommend this product for safety and their great looks. |
| I have used these for years on both 2010/2012 Wings ! The comments are very valid about "speed bumps"..Found out the hard way this summer.. Went over speed bump that I didn't see immediately..To late...cracked rear fender at all locations...fortunately had ole duck tape to keep fender on till I got back home.. They do keep grim and road dirt off cowling..Just be careful....Guess there's a reason Honda won't install from factory ! |

I bought this unit last month and have it connected to my 1984 Aspencade, paired to my 10S headset. The CB part works great, except I get an echo through the headset when I talk. Haven't figured out how to clear that up - the instructions are not very clear. When I have my Satellite Radio connected into the Au input, I cannot hear the CB conversation - it gets drowned out. I now play the Satellite Radio through the cassette adapter in the on board stereo and it works great. I also seem to lose the connection when using my cell phone. Tapping the red button seems to bring it back on, but is a bit of a pain. I have also had issues with my passenger Bluetooth connection - it drops out on its own a lot when I am connected to the Freewire. If I turn off the Freewire, my 10S sets work flawlessly. Maybe a limit to the number of devices my 10S can connect to? |

F4 will Quaility and Durability I purchased a -2" F4 with no vent for my 2003 Wing. Oct 2016 with Over 5 years and around 75,000 with it I purchased another Wing (2008 with 16,000) and it had a stock windshield w/vent in good shape. I don't like the stock shield w/vent being it's taller and not a real fan of the vent either so I swapped the shields on my 03 to the 08. I've since put another 14,000 miles on the 08 Wing with the -2" F4. So far about 90,000 miles and 6 years and this F4 is still in very good shape and still repels water just like when new, no swirl marks on shield (no scratches either) and no Halo's around headlights from oncoming traffic while night riding. I used to not ride when it rained because rain beads up and doesn't shed well on other shields I've tried but this F4 sheds water like a windshield treated with Rain-X. Now when it rains I simply raise the -2" F4 to full up and keep on going. I also have the full Monty Baker Air Wings installed on my Wings(a must have) and just came back from the full Eclipse show down in Booneville, MO (only about 200 miles from home) and after leaving to head home it started raining and at times pretty hard. I didn't even stop to put on my rain suit which I rarely ever use now days. I had on jeans, t-shirt and leather vest. Stopped for gas in Princeton, MO for gas under an awning while still raining and didn't even bother to put on a jacket then and finished my trip home. I stayed dry too by the way and the outside of my shirt sleeves were only dampish. I will not own a bike without one of these awesome F4 windshields on it. ps. About 4 years ago a Falcon chasing/preying after another bird flew from left to right across my path as I was at highway speed of about 65 mph and the Falcon impacted just right of center on my F4 Deflecting in to my right side mirror. Not a single mark or scar to shield or bike. All I had to do was put the break away mirror back into position. The Falcon wasn't so lucky though. Highly Recommended product and very satisfied customer. |
| Do not know if by GL1800 frame is different but I cannot align the holes for the three bolts up. If you align the bolts up then the cover does not fit the frame and align the cover up the holes does not fit. Never had problems with the BB52714 makes, those fit perfectly. |

| Ordered this a few oil changes ago and think this is a great plug but had the bike in the shop for some clutch work and when I got it back decided to do a oil change and found out they switched mine back to the stock OME so I had to do a replacement |
| Hi friends, Added these lights to my 2015 F6B with no problems. The lights are thoughtfully built and ascetically pleasing. I love the integrated turn signals and the bright Fog light. Gives the bike the same effect as high end cars whose day time running lights turnoff while signaling a turn. Factory switch looks great and fits well too. They do have the ability to aim the beam but mine required no adjustment. |
| The OEM rubber seal must be cut to fit the LED lamps. There is a small box (capacitor?) on the power cord that has to be attached somewhere. It was difficult to twist the lamp base the 1/4 turn to lock it in. The woven metal ribbon heat sinks have to be deployed away from upper forks. One LED on one of the lamps was DOA; the company (they have no customer service phone #) finally responded to my emails and sent a replacement and was good to deal with. Despite these issues, I like the color temperature and intensity of the lamps. |

2012 GL1800 intermittent problem> we placed an ohn meter on the antenna between the top and lower part it beeped while older model CBs don't beep. need your help Thanks |
| I get CB error on display intermittently. I have to turn the cb OFF for a few seconds and then ON again then it works for a while. have not been able to find a solution. Please help if you can |
