Universal fit - Yeah, that means universlly doesn't fit. Here's my fix and now this is a GREAT accessory. My peg cover is definitely metal with rubber inserts. I have an Add-on Heel/Toe shifter on my GL1800, but the front shift peg didn't give enough room for my size 9 shoe and I used the original shift peg instead. But only 1/2 of the peg was usable, bought this to extend the peg. Tried wrapping the stock peg with electrical tape, but the peg cover still wobbled terribly. I cut a piece of copper pipe (plumbing project leftover) that fit perfectly inside of the new peg cover and also over the peg rubber of the stock peg (approx. 1" OD?). Drill 2 holes in the pipe for the set screws to pass thru. A bit of WD40 to help slide the pipe into the peg cover, lining up the holes for the set screws. WD40 on the stock shift peg to slide it on and tighten down the longer set screws provided. The set screws "bite" into the stock shift rubber to hold it and the copper pipe is a perfect spacer so that there is barely any wobble - any wobble is probably due to the give of the rubber. It feels pretty solid now and I have a nice looking shift peg cover that is easier to use. This cover will work much better on the stock shifter peg if you use a spacer like the copper pipe. I think they sound even better now than when new. I can tell you I DON'T hear a drone. I hear a melodic tone. I wear a half helmet. My granddaughter was lulled to sleep (scared me) by the melodic rhythm. I was at a Valkyrie riders campout and received many compliments both on the look and the sound. A guy who bought an '18 Wing rode behind me quite a bit. He came up to me while we were all admiring our bikes and said he felt my pipes sounded the best of them all. btw there are weep holes in stock pipes, so my drips were normal. Keeps condensation out of the inner pipe apparently. |
| I recently ordered from Wingstuff for the first time, ever. I ordered a new Bridgestone rear tire for my '18 Goldwing. The order was placed just before 7:00am, central time, Monday morning. My tire arrived at my home the very next day by mid-afternoon. I was expecting at least a couple of days, maybe three, to receive it. I was glad to be proven wrong. |

| After all your reviews as I decided to go with the Show Chrome Tail Fender Light. It is a nice addition to my F6B, it really lights up at night. During the day not so much. But its Built to last. Tom |

| Did not drill holes, but tried brighter LEDs as mentioned in another review. Lights up well until turn signal applied, then freezes all rear turn signals on for the side switched on. Can't turn off. Would consider purchasing their Low Browz product if they would assure it was LED compatible. Electrical Connection won't answer email. |
| This was an easy install it was under 10 min start to finish for the install. I removed all 4 nuts and pulled the panel off the studs on both sides. Then put the panel in place started the nuts back on all 4 studs left them loose. I then attached the front panel with the DZUS fasteners and slid the assembly into the proper fitment. I used a small rubber shot hammer to assist me is sliding the assembly. Then all 4 nuts were tightened. I did spend 40 minuets removing the sharp burrs from the panel before installation. Hope this helps you in making the decision to purchase this product TOP QUALITY~!!!!! |

Excellent quality and fit. Works very well. The only thing I can complain about is not the voltmeter's fault. The red access plug for the voltmeter was on the left side instead of the right. As suggested, I did buy the extension, which I did use. Had to run the wiring from under the left pocket to under the right pocket. With a little ingenuity, I got it done without the wiring showing too much. Everything was plug n play as advertised and the voltmeter works very well. |
| In 2016 I thought this was the answer to a more comfortable ride even though I ended up losing it. I replaced it with a thick, horseshoe-shaped seat cushion from a department store and found an even more comfortable ride at a MUCH lower cost. I was saddened that I had spent a fortune on something so small that barely made a difference. |
