| I installed this LED reflector on my bike today. It looks great when it is both on and off. HOWEVER - the instructions are incorrect. If you follow them, you will not get the reflector installed without issue. The instructions instruct you where to drill a 1/2" hole in the fender to feed the cable through. I did not have a 1/2" but used a slightly larger 5/8" bit. The connectors have no chance of fitting through even this size hole. After the 5/8" hole is cut, it is nearly impossible to easily make that hole larger. BTW - 3/4" barely allowed the cable to go through. After you get the larger hole cut, you then find out that the wire in the reflector does not match the hole you cut. More shaving and fling and finally it fits. The screw that tightens the reflector does not do a good job. The pin that sticks out from the reflector to line up the light with the fender is too loose. I hot glued the connection to insure a solid fit. It is my hope that the reflector does not work it's way loose over time. I am looking forward to other Goldstrike products over the winter. I am hoping that the instructions better fit the installation. |
| I installed the flag set up and made sure the set screws were tight, during a 2500 mile trip, I lost the flag and pole at the beginning of the trip in Northern Nevada! I see this has happen to others as well, was going to order a 2nd kit, but price went up and others have lost more than one flag and pole, would like another option! |

Several days after I posted my review of this product, I received an email from the manufacturer. The email confirmed the issue that I previously wrote about, and they offered a solution that turned out to work very well. The manufacturer suggested that I put several rubber O-Rings onto the shaft of the adapter for the cupholder to create some friction. I wanted to give you an update on the O-ring "solution" that they provided for me. I went to Home Depot, and since I wasn't sure which size O-ring to purchase, I purchased 3 different sizes. The one that worked perfectly was Size #9. The manufacturer is DANCO. The Part number is 96726. It is a #9 O-Ring, and the dimensions are 5/8"O.D. x 7/16" I.D. x 3/32" The SKU # for the product (UPC Bar Code Number) is 3715596726 I put 5 of the O-Rings on the indented part of the shaft of the adapter that goes into the armrest. It fit inside perfectly, and none of the O-rings are visible with the adapter installed. It provides more than sufficient friction to prevent the Regular size cup (that is the one I have) from spinning upside down anymore. It also allows me to turn it as I open the trunk (I just have to remember to do that every time). I told the manufacturer that they should INCLUDE those O-Rings with the product for future customers, along with instructions on how to use them. I hope this helps any potential purchaser of this product. The O-rings made it fully functional for me. |
| The product arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I purchased the cup holder and left-side mounting bracket. I had it installed in about 5 minutes and it looks great. I usually ride with a can of soda in a "koozie" and it fits very well. This is also a very good looking cup holder. The left-side mount does block a couple buttons from being seen easily, but it provides plenty of room for your thumb...even with a glove. I give it 4 stars only because it seems a bit pricey for a cup holder. The product is well made and is not cheaply made. |

I had the same footboards and heel-toe shifter on my VTX 1800R. Just had the dealer install these on my just acquired 2004 Gold Wing along with the ERGO II touring pegs. Never rode much over 200 miles on the VTX but the comfort level increased tremendously. Have put about 2,500 miles on my Gold wing in about 5 weeks with very little fatigue. Makes the whole ride experience on 250 mi rides that much more fun & comfortable on an already great Gold Wing Great product and Wing Stuff is a Great Co. to do business with. Their video tutorials with the associated products were extremely helpful in me deciding which products were a good fit for me and my wing. |

This is my 2nd Backrest. Had one on my VTX 1800R and Loved it. I have had 3 back surgeries over the years and this is a much needed add on for my newly acquired 2004 Gold Wing. I also have a replacement hip so the fold down feature is a great advantage for "my" beat up frame to get my leg over the bike. Only gave 4 stars because suggested drilling locations were incorrect. It pushed the mounting bar too far down into the seat. Other than that 5 stars....great quality product and a perfect match to OEM seat. |
| What about a left handlebar mounting bracket for the 2018-19 DCT. Would rate 5 stars if bracket was available. |
| They snapped in place solidly, look great, and very good price. |
| These fit great, and look great. Not cheap flimsy plastic |
| These look great, are comfortable to use and are infinitely adjustable. Instructions should include how to remove fog light and lower engine covers and some diagrams as the photo's are a little difficult to decipher. Once installed these look and work great. |
| These look great and appear to be good quality. Easy to install. |
| Easy to install and does the job well. |
