Installed the Gen 2 Helibars and really like the new position. Only issue I had was that part of my grips are now showing right smack dab in the middle of my mirror. hence, the 4 stars. otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Of course, an individuals height may have a different view looking into the mirror. I am 5'8" myself. I ended up putting the little round mirror in the corners to get my full view back. Other than that I really like the new position.
Good add on. Easy to put on. Strong sturdy and heavy. Only thing wrong with them is never had them on when first bought my trike in April 2017. Allows me to stretch my legs out. I
Brackets are quality made and very sturdy. Had to modify fog light shroud slightly on the L/H side only. I have the Honda Foglights and had to loosen them up to mount the brackets. Very straight forward install.
The harness worked as specified. I gave it a 3 star because of the 3 extra lighting connectors. It seems a waste as I do not intend on getting any more lighting products from pathfinder. BTW the brake/sequential lighting works awesome!
I have run different tires on my 06 Wing over the past 10 years and I keep coming back to the Avon Cobra, now Avon Cobra Chrome. All motorcycle tires deliver about the same miles but I feel more comfortable on the Avons. They are just more stable in my opinion. I only run my tires until they are close to the wear bars. I run 40 lbs in the front and 45 lbs in the back and my tires do not cup. I also have centramatic balancers to help maintain tire balance as they wear traveling through sweepers and smilers at moderate speeds because I am just an ole geezer glider.
Fits like a clove
Fits perfect. Dresses the inside of the bags up.
The pan arrived on time and was packaged very well. It took about 15 minutes to install. Just remove the 4 header bolts, pull the plastic shield out a bit, slip one side onto the studs, and then the other side, then tighten all 4 bolts. The front part was easy too, just line up the holes, insert the bolt and twist onto the bracket. The pan fits just fine. It does not hang down enough to interfere with cornering or the center stand. I bought this pan to replace an aluminum pan that was destroyed by a rock while touring in Idaho. The aluminum pan protected the cylinder block so that it only sustained a hairline crank that was patched with JB Weld Steel Stick. Cylinder block had to be replaced when I got home. Hope the stainless pan offers a little more protection. It is thicker than the aluminum pan.
What is the ball size and which RAM mount can be installed in this.
I bought the Bridgestone front tire for my 2012 Wing from Wingstuff. There were other retailers that had a better price, but I didn’t trust they would have a recent born on date. I received my tire in a few short days and it had a 3 month date which made me happy. I usually get 15k-18k miles on the OEM tires without using any beads or balancer products. I religiously check my psi and run about 3-5lbs over what Honda suggests. I get great even wear. I mainly ride FLORIDA flat/straight roads with annual trips to the mountains.
Nice looking easy to fit but didn't work with my kickstand switch. Had to replace the switch DAMN
