Stop It !!
| I was replacing the front wheel bearings on my 2007 GL1800 and noticed the brake pads needed replacement. After looking at the alternative pads, I decided to go with OEM Honda Pads. Heck, I got 43,000 miles out of the originals...why not ? I have to admit, I live out in the country, so I'm not in heavy stop and go traffic much. But 43K is great for a bike this heavy !! |

Sure it's a good product and a good addition to any GL 1800..However, the socket is fused at only 3 amps and the bike circuit that it plugs into is fused at 5 amps.First time I plugged an air-compressor in to fill a buddy's flat tire..the fuse blew ! It's ok for I-Pods and Cell phones but pretty much worthless for anything else like a compressor. I'm going to add a heavier duty socket somewhere else that will handle the compressor load. That's why I'm only giving it a 3 star rating. Paul |
