| Today I replaced an older set of All-Balls bearings on my gen 1 gl1800... I didn't like the feel and sure enough 1 top bearing had gone bad &the wrong grease had been used. I rebuilt the forks & sure enough they needed that done. A big job that will take a day's work. |

| So, I have 2 Gold Wings and I'm working on getting 1 more... I buy used and if it didn't come on the bike, I remove it... There are aftermarket parts I do like such as lighting... Aftermarket pegs get dragged on the road surface in the turn & the idea of anything like foot pegs hitting the road, it's not for me... Easy on Easy off
| This had to be the #1 item purchased for my 2008 Goldwing... I watched all the YouTube videos on just how easy it was to get my bike on its center stand with no luck, making me feel stupid each time... Today my bike gets on and off its new CRS center stand with easily without my feeling stupid... At 66 years old I'll swear things just got easier for me...You should remove the factory burrs and paint from the mounting holes with sandpaper and add grease before installing to get a fast and easy installation... |
