Goldstrike Grips Black for 2018+ Gold Wing

Nice but a little room for improvement
| I awaited eagerly for the arrival of these grips because I did find the stock size to be small. These install very easily and feel good. The size takes a bit of getting used to and honestly for me they could be easily have been 1 1/2". Not too difficult to accomplish. With the attention to detail I have experienced from other Goldstrike accessories I have purchased I would have thought they would have considered reusing the original handlebar counter weights. That being said I did not notice any increase of vibration in the handlebars on my Honda. At the end of a full day ride I did like them. Worth getting if you find the stock size a bit uncomfortable. |

A Bit Disappointed
| I have been through a couple windshields for my 2018 Goldwing. One was horribly noisy at times. This F4 arrived well packaged with a caution not to over tighten. I have had 6 Goldwings and many other bikes and changed windshields a number of times. I know to be careful. When I installed this tinted windshield and sat on the bike to look at it I found what appears to be a hairline crack at each upper mount hole. Also I have noted slight chips on the edge of the windshield. Knowing full well that once I have mounted it on the bike there is no recourse with WingStuff I pulled up my big boy pants and went for a ride. The 20" windshield works very well. I can keep it low enough to see over and the air is moved over me. I still get some noise in my full face helmet shield at times. After spending $600 CAD including shipping I am on the page of over priced accessories. I am happy enough with the performance (it cleans really well) but really there should be a less expensive alternative, but there isn't. |

A World of Difference
| I have owned 6 Goldwings and have always had the technique of putting it on the centre stand with ease. That was till I bought my 2018. I have has great difficulty getting it up and often get my wife to assist with a gentle pull on the opposite handlebar. Now, with these grab rails I can get it up with ease. One of the best additions to my bike. |

Only One Size Worth Buying
| I purchased a standard height Wraparound Windshield for my 2018 Goldwing thinking I was happy with the stock height, raising it some as I'm sure most do. I now know that once you raise the Wraparound a horrible whistle starts at most speeds and is very annoying like a squealing wheel bearing or worse. I can't change it cause I've mounted it. So order the tallest and cut it down if necessary. The windshield looks great in the lower position but the black bottom is not so appealing when the windshield is raised. If I had to do over again I would buy this product but order the tallest one. If you ordered the short one return it before mounting it. |

Soft Touch
| I like the black ones for my red 2018 GL with the twin rail footrest. The quality and engineering is marvellous. They seem to have a soft feel to them when I use them which really puts my feet and legs at rest. Install was fairly easy although the video showed installing the bracket quite well it didn't cover putting the foot pad to the bracket. There is a lot of adjustment to these so most everyone should find a comfortable setting. I love these. |

Look Great
| I purchased these to match the 3 way highway pegs I added. They look great. I found they don't tip up as well as the stock pegs but that is not an issue for me. I did have to adjust my shift lever up to make toe shifting more natural. The feel like floorboards on other bikes I have had but I am happy with them. |
