Dunlop E4
Additionally, these tires are not yet available in Canada and you can't beat the Wingstuff price. |

Dunlop E4
Personally, I like these tires. Used the E3s for many years. There appears to be less rolling resistance although I find the tires a little nosier than their predecessor. After more than 3000 miles, I have yet to see any cupping. I had the tires installed, balanced and for double security, I have the bead balancers. Seems like a pretty good tire to me. |

had Elite 3 combo Ft tire was bad.
Noticed that they don't sell the Elite 3 tires..The front tire had a flat spot, returned it, Wing stuff gave me another one, they were great. Now after 3K that tire has a flat spot on the side and is rocking the bars. Just replaced it..And not a Dunlop. |

Elite 4s - Big disappointment
I have run the Bridgestones on my 2010 Goldwing for years without any real issue. A few weeks ago, I decided to give the new E4s a shot. I installed them in advance of a 3800 mile trip. They were great for the 1st 2000 miles but after that point, the rear tire started to cup horribly. Now after 3800 miles the rear is cupped and extremely noisy. Front looks fine though. Very disappointed to say the least. |

Great tire
I called the Tonawanda plant for Dunlop and was told they used the same carcass as the Elite3. As the E3 is an unadvertised runflat (they can't because of insurance) I wanted to make sure this tire was the same. I was told they mad changes to the tread rubber and tread itself to better the characteristics. I haven't been in a rain storm to check that change but very impressed with the lack of noise that the E3's had. I have a long driveway and my first drive on the tire at slow speeds made me think I did not have any air in my tires they were so smooth. As I have put 40,000 miles on E3's I noticed the "rolling" difference right away. Good job Dunlop! |
