I would only buy them for looks! They look great!
I thought I good use as extra bright running lights. I was able to hook up with a switch, but they didn't add anything to my headlight. I switched them back to cornering lights. I don't think they are any brighter than the original cornering lights and wouldn't have bought them if I knew that! |

Love the look hate the bulbs
So I installed this light kit over the winter and enjoyed the project. However I have been riding for just over 6 months and one of the bulbs already burnt out. Very annoying |

Replace bulb with LED ?
They say to use a 30watt bulb. That uses 2.5 amps. .... is there an LED that can replace it ? |

https://wingstuff.com/products/35965-30-watt-led-replacement-driving-light-bulb-for-gl1500-se?context=gold_wing_gl1500-lights_electrical I upgraded the whole front end to LED's and love it! Position & Side marker lights, turn signals with HID headlight kit. |

Great look!
I put these in without issue but it took some time. Couldn't get the spring hookups to work so I glued it in (using another reader's comment). Did have one light go out but it wasn't seated well and easily fixed. But it's really a great addition to the bike and I'm real pleased I got it. |

Extra Lights Always Good!!
I chose to have these lights professionally installed by my favorite bike mechanic and they are proving to be a great investment. Anytime you can add extra lights for riding a bike at night is always a good thing, even on a Goldwing. Only one issue; the left side bulb burned out on the first ride but my mechanic replaced it without an additional charge. I actually bought this light kit from his shop, but buy many products from Wingstuff and can't say enough good stuff about the people that I have dealt with there. For the most part the products that I have bought there have been top notch as well. |

This product is awsome! If your bike has the cornering lights, installation was quick and easy. The instructions about the jumper plug could be clearer, but it didnt take long to figure out. The lights look great, and the bike lights up very well, making it safer to ride at night. The lights do shine to the sides a bit, but i think these lights are well worth the money. |

I found that the attachment system is not very good unless you use the ugly screws to hold the spring brackets onto the tupperware. At first I used epoxy to mount the brackets but that eventually let loose over time and rough roads. If you want the bulbs to last the housing needs to be shock mounted with a very liberal amount of silicone around the backside of the housing since you will never remove them once you cut the opening in the fairing anyway. So remove the unnecessary hardware & stupid springs... use the waterproof silicone liberally to hold the unit in place. It doesn't show on the front & the bulbs last for years now. |
