Kury Mount and cup for GL-1800
| OK in a pinch - if you want liquid to leak on you during the ride while the cup rotates slightly to the left or right. I've had this product for about a year now. Always carried the cup in my trunk until needed. The cup holder looks good but it mounts too close to the left high accessory switch panel, making it impossible to tighten down the cup holder "tilt" unless the holder is dismounted. Additionally, the cup doesn't insulate worth a crap, and it leaks due to a bad seal. Always has. My solution was to accept the inability to tighten down the mount's oscillation and I purchased a Thermos SIP cup will does not leak. Better yet, the SIP mug maintains hot and cold liquids for many, many hours. I would not buy this drink holder again.... |

Owned and used for last 2 years
| I bought this cup and holder 2 years ago and installed it the day it came in. I love this cup holder and the mug and just ordered a replacement mug. Very stylish and keeps the drinks cool and the coffee in the morning hot!! DO not expect it to keep it hot forever or cool forever, but it is for awhile. Very easy installation. A previous review by Jim on 4/07/11 prompted me to write my own review. First, It does not leak at all unless you fill it to the brim, If I remember the instructions that came with it correctly. It tells you not to fill it completely full. Second, is the wing nut vibrating loose. It is mounted on a motorcycle so expect some bolts to loosen. Check it after the first ride or so and retighten. I retightened mine by hand one time after the first month of ownership, no pliers required. It has been tight ever since. Loc tite can be used as well. I have not had my holder off one time in 2 years Third, the only time mine got stuck in the holder was when it sat for 2 weeks in the HOT NM sun without being taken out while I was in Alaska. The black mark was easily cleaned up. Fourth, It is very easy to align the top of the lid with the emblem on the cup and when you put it in the holder, align the emblem where it is natural for when you pick it up to drink. If that does not work, you can feel the lid when you HAVE to reach down and slide it open. You can tell which way the drinking hole is by the slide cover. Ok, enough of my rant.. If you're still reading, then thank you. I love my cup and feel that it is much better then a lot of the plastic ones on the market. |

Have a Drink!!
| The install was about five minutes, and it looks great! I had alot of people comment about it! They all love the idea! The Chromed Cup keeps stuff really cool for a long time, and although we haven't tried anything hot yet, we plan on it! I also plan on installing one for my wife in the back too! NOTE--I also ordered the snap on cup holder attachment, so IF you want to carry something like a bottle of soda,and not use the cup, it's an easy switch/ on-off. Great item, you'll be very happy! |

| Awesome!!! Been using the drink holder since August, should have bought it before summer. Easy to install, easy to use, many other similar shaped cups fit. Keeps you hydrated without having to stop. With a few ice cubes, it keeps water cold for a reasonable time. I would recommend using LocTite on the threads. Should have 6 stars. |
