I had the "closed one" on my other wing. This one is a lot better. Had it installed in about 10 min. (it's that easy!) don't tighten anything till you’re finished. |

It took me about an hour to install (okay, so I had some problem getting it to slide over the factory bolts) but installation went fine. There is a YouTube video that shows how to do it, but they didn't take the white protective laminate off. Doh! I've had the front piece off to change the oil and it's easy off/on. Yup, I'd purchase this again. |

Was very easy to install. Coating wasnt that hard to remove.I should have put the two pieces together first. Would have saved me some time, as the springs were up abit to far. Just finished a 6000km Trip through British Columbia Canada. What a asome place to ride. I will not be with out pan. took some hits, spead bumps, chucks of tires, small rocks. I also find less buffeting from trucks and wind shear. It is a most! |

Went on easy. It was harder to get the protective plastic off than to install! :o) Nice fit. Now the under belly is protected. I like that this one has vents. |

Good looking easy to fit need a pit or a ramp must be able to get under the bike, on the front part I had to use two self tapping screws to keep the two out side edges together. |

I have to say I am very happy that I purchased this product. I wasn't aware of how susceptible I was to roadway hazards. I bought this as a precaution. As I was installing it I observed a rather large deformation in the lowere cowling from what appeared to be a large rock impact. Had that struck the resevoir tank it would have been game over. This product was a very easy install especially after watching the Utube video others have posted on here. Oh and thanks for the heads up from other posters. I wore the mechanics thin gloves and didn't lose any blood on this project. |

I installed this product with no problems and it looks great with its shiny vented stainless steel finish and will keep the air from getting up under the bike, but it won't do the job of protecting the underside as the vents will get smashed. I was expecting this product to be thicker as stainless steel usually is. I installed a lowering kit and my main reason for buying this belly pan was to cushion the blows from curbs and speed bumps and protect the underside. Guess this product ain't gonna let it happen. |
